Yeah, the Professional is really artsy. Like, it's a very simple plot (With one big twist at the end) but it's clear we're not really supposed to feel a sense of tension. There are, however, lots of interesting shots like Golgo's battle with the snake mutant, where the camera is swaying back and forth.
