God, I want a deus ex game about our MC who wants to protect his robot waifu getting tangled by the chaos and conspiracy. And the final choice is either choosing his love over his robot waifu or to believe in a warmth of a fellow individual.

I don't count on us being still alive when humanity gets there.
As for laws, I can see most countries enforcing a strict policy regarding the use of robots equipped with advanced AI. Normal people won't be able to get their hands on them, big companies and government offices will. There will of course be some kind of easily accessible open source AI and build-it-yourself kits but society will shun the people who resort to that because it certainly won't be mainstream to fuck your robowife. To top it off, there's always the risk of some tards installing compromised code and a lot of homicide cases popping up, leading to privately owned robots getting outlawed entirely.
