Reasons why it's bad that Jinbei joined
1. Oda is overselling him. There have been many moments that scream: "Hey audience of OP, you should love Jinbei!" Remember when Brook joined? The members of the crew were revolted at the idea and Luffy just casually asked him. It felt all so natural. Contrast this with Jinbei where everybody has a boner for him. It feels so forced and artifical.
2. Seeing a character get to where he is and being with him on that journey is way more interesting than acquiring a fully developed badass. It's like in an RPG where you unlock a new character near the end of the game who has power but you like your other characters more because you build them from the ground up. This isn't just about base power though. Obviously we need capable members but even a character who is already strong can still feel like a diamond in the rough. Carrot, for instance, is already pretty strong compared to early OP characters but because she is also relatively innocent and unversed with the world around her, it feels like she has still a long way ahead of her.
3. Remember how Brook was destroyed by Ryuma in his introductory arc? Once again, seeing a character struggle is endearing. Compare that to Jinbei who either dominates his opponents (Moria for example) or tanks attacks from the strongest characters in the verse.
4. He had the role of being Luffy's mentor / fatherly figur and as such it doesn't fir for him to be Luffy's underling. He automatically has a status which no other SH has. It's as if Raleigh joined the crew.
5. He and his "issue" are boring. Arlong, Tiger or Hody are all a thousand times more interesting fishmen because you can see how the racism shit affected them deeply, whereas Jinbei is just a random spectator who happens to be strong. What's so interesting about that? Nothing.
6. He's disgusting to look at.

We saw on Punk Hazard that fruit placed near a dying Devil Fruit user turned into the new Sara Sara no Mi, so the new Nikyu Nikyu no Mi would have appeared where its previous user died.

We also saw Kuma being ridden like an animal during the Reverie, so odds are it's where "his humanity died" as Doflamingo claimed. If it wasn't already dead when the Revolutionaries found him being ridden, then they could have mercy killed him.

Thus Vivi would have been in the right place at the right time to get the Nikyu Nikyu no Mi. Tea was on the table and fruit could have been served. If someone at Mary Geoise ate it, they could likely use it to travel anywhere in the world and become a capable fighter.

I'm sure most people here know the "number theory" from the SBS and remember Vivi's desire to remain a Straw Hat nakama from the end of the Alabasta Saga.

HOWEVER, King Elizabello II was also at the Reverie, and he was introduced in Dressrosa as someone competing for the Mera Mera no Mi, so odds are he would have eaten it before her.

So, since I just woke up, let me tell you about this One Piece dream I had. Keep in mind it mostly goes off of Pirate Warriors 4 logic.
>raid on Onigashima
>actually starts off like a stealth mission
>have guys like Cavendish, Barto, and Moria there for the good guys
>start things off with Robin showing off her new ability: sprouting body parts of her younger self, eventually creating a loli Robin clone
>loli Robin goes to distract guards, bringing them to spot where others can knock them out
>eventually perform this plan on Hawkins, capturing him
>Robin is now able to sprout the body parts of OTHER PEOPLE while touching them
>Robin creates a Hawkins clone to lure away Apoo and capture him as well
>Hawkins and Apoo convinced to join the good guys
>about to head into Onigashima proper
>somehow, Moria's shadows are forced into some random fodder without his desire
>100+ shadow fodder now serious threat, causing Luffy to stay behind to fight them in Gear 4 while everyone else gets into Onigashima
>Luffy wins, dream ends
Overall not my weirdest OP-related dream.

I only learned today Koushirou and Kuina are related to Ryuma and Yasuie and I don't remember anything in the manga actually saying this only an SBS question was this ever stated in the manga?

The paw paw fruit is too broken for the SH crew. It would end up like Robin's fruit and never be used to its full potential.

Ryuuma was referred to as Shimotsuki Ryuuma, being the first mention to the Shimotsuki family.
Shimotsuki was also the name of the village were Koushiro had his dojo back in East Blue, and was interpreted as a hint of a relation to the Shimotsuki swordsmith responsible for crafting Enma who left Wanno 50 years ago.

I agree completely. I would go further, though, by proposing that adding a Nikyu Nikyu no Mi user was Oda's original plan, and that he changed it when he realized that the fruit is too powerful. And if it somehow still happened (given how thoroughly he set up Kuma's arc) its user will not master Kuma's moves.

Helmsman is an important position for a ship.Did you not see what he did in whole cake? He can maneuver the ship like nothing else. Nami mostly doesn't drive the ship herself. Jinbei and her cooperating will make an unstoppable pair.

Nah I will express myself whenever I feel like it. The idea that people should run around smiling with 100% positivity the entire time and immediately ignore everything they dislike is so weird and creepy. People want to share their experiences, both good and bad. People want to make others understand their point of view, both with regard to their likes and dislikes. People want to communicate, make suggestions, nitpick, be hyped, share their feelings of disappointment. In short: humans are emotional and social creatures and so it is no fucking surprise that we socially share our emotions, especially on the internet because there is no backlash for doing so.

How many interesting scenarios can this possibly create? "Oh no a storm! Good that we have our unstoppable pair and the storm did nothing to us...ok moving on." What else? It makes dangerous situations involving the ship less interesting and it also pisses me off that one aspect of Nami where she was godlike and never made a mistake (reading currents) now goes to the fish fag.

Jinbe completely invalidates Nami despite the two explicitely being shown working well together as Navigator and Helmsman.
These roles and cooperation don't matter because I said so.
Also Lookout is an actual, more important role than Helmsman.

'Reading currents' doesn't mean she can always pull clever solutions to the complex problems posed by the sea in the NW
Her navigational knowledge was rendered useless when she was faced by that huge wave on WCI. The crew has barely been able to escape crazy situations due to wher witt and pure luck but they'll need more than that from now on.

Well it's not just about steering the ship. Nami is only so capable in controlling the Sunny, in Impel Down we saw that Luffy was surprised at how quickly they arrived at Marineford which is why people were theorizing he'd be the helmsman before WCI solidified that theory.

That's the point of Jinbei. The Strawhats aren't at the point where they can be just coup de bursting anywhere. If they're fighting in naval warfare they're going to need a helmsman.
