You've bet your life on one game. You do not know the contents of the game or what it comprises...
if you pick anything other than sakamoto you are sub-100 iq for sure
Half of the characters on your pic aren't even smart, they have a lot of plot armour.
akagi
shino because she's cute
Sakamoto because he cant ever lose because that is the joke
Sakamoto is seriously so far above every single other character here, even Shiro, that it would be completely retarded to choose anyone but him.
Do you trust intelligence or plot armor with your life?
Kaoru hes a beast
Sakamoto because guaranteed good outcome, or makima because cute
If you want to make a character 3x3 thread, make a character 3x3 thread. Don't try to mask it as some stupid shit. You won't even get other people to post their 3x3 that way.
Depends on whether I am the MC of the story.
Myself.
Since it's my game I'm the protagonist and I'm going to have plot armor.
>is the random nameless background character that dies in episode 1 to introduce the audience to the world of this game before we are introduced to the main character
You know the ones
>nighttime
>running away panting
>chased by opponent with mysterious power
>struggles but dies anyways, off camera screaming and blood splatter
>op plays and mc is sitting at their desk in high school looking bored
Never lost a game, I'm in good hands.
My King, of course.
>no Kakegurui characters
Why?
Not implying they would be good choices, but some people would take them anyway.
Kaworu. If he loses the game, he can protect me from whatever with his AT field.
I thought about Kirari but realized she hasn't really participated in anything yet. The 'risk it to the death' mode is in Akagi too, so yeah
Akagi, how retarded can you be not to choose him?
probably akiyama
Question in unclear.
Most of these characters win because they have plot armor. Can I expect the same level of plot armor for my game?
Or will they use the skill/knowledge they demonstrated in their series, and will win/lose based on the skill difference between that, and their opponent?
thats better than smarts though
>Pick Yumeko
>She's thrilled to play a game with life at stakes, even if it's not her own
>She masturbates
>She pulls a few twists you didn't see at all
>She masturbates some more
>She absolutely owns the other player, but in the end she loses anyway because there was a luck element in the game, or she'd find it boring
>'Oops, sorry! You're not mad, are you?'
>You can't stay mad at her
>They execute you anyway so it doesn't really matter
how could you ever get mad at Yumeko
she's so cute and fun
The ambiguity reveals how much importance one places on these things, instinctually. I imagine the Sakamoto answers believe plot armor is the ultimate strength and put their faith in that, both in this game and in their reading and watching. If it's demonstrated skill, perhaps Yang or Akiyama. Will and intuition, Akagi & Tser. Composure and spirit, Kaworu and Makima, etc... Answer for both questions!
based
>You do not know the contents of the game or what it comprises.
Key sentence here. Since Sakamoto doesn't really have a particular niche but is just talented at everything, he'd make the safest bet. Although he could still be defeated depending on what the game actually entails, even then he's probably the guy on the list most likely to put your own safety before his own. He might not win, but would probably pull off some dumb loophole to get you out of trouble.
>mixing actual smart characters with shitty smart characters with Sakamoto with characters with superpowers
Lame. I choose Akagi. Akiyama would be a great matchup. Tserriednich and Makima would be the biggest threats in there because of their powers
Myself, because I'm not a faggot.
>u lose
So what? At least I go out on my terms and out of my choice knowing that I lived my life proudly and most importantly in my last moments I was a hero of my own story and not some background character, who had to rely on others even putting my own life into their hands.
Well, what I mean is... If we accept everything the characters did as canon:
Shiro defeated the top chess engines in the world.
This is something literally no other human on the planet will ever be able to do. Even the world chess champion gets annihilated playing them.
I don't know all these other characters, but if it's a chess-like game, I want Shiro. If it's a game that allows cheating, I probably want her as well, because they do that too.
If it's a random bullshit asspull game that's literally impossible to predict/play? I still want her, because they did that too.
So my point is that if we accept the premise and the canon, then Shiro will win at everything, by the premise.
That'd be like asking who you want in a boxing match; Think I'll take the guy who, by premise, win every fight with 1 punch.
Posting the superior version
Akagi, Akiyama and Shinichi compete to see who can catch Johan first
Who wins?
Sakamoto is just instant will, you choose that if you're in it for the win. You pick any other to drool your fanfics in the replies
>If it's a game that allows cheating, I probably want her as well,
She would get fucking dwarfed by Akagi and Akiyama in anything involving deception
sakamoto can turn any situation into a winning situation. now think again
Bottom right every time
Makima because the game was most likely her idea
Akagi is a no-brainer. The rest are actual no-brainers.
>the 3 all figure out how to catch Johann at the same time
>Shinichi has to squirm around to hide that he's alive
>Akiyama takes the time to gain the trust of everyone involved in his plan
>Akagi just fucking goes
Akagi, no question
fpbp
The strongest.
fpbp
Akagi is the thinking man's choice
I choose yang. Fuck it if I die, hes the only one here I would have a good time with.
/thread
This but with Kaωoru
That wouldn't save you if your fate was sealed with a death note
You instantly invalidated any other choice when you put Akagi on this.
I know all the characters on this 3x3 except bottom middle and I enjoyed all the other series. Anyone tell me what show they're from?
Bungou Stray Dogs. 'Dostoyevsky' from season three--mostly.
>Akiyama is kinda meh
>Yang can lose if it endangers his principles (Ask Reinhard)
>Prince Crimson needs a ripoff power to be of any use
>Sakamoto has a high plot armor unless he deems necessary to lose... In a cool wsy.
>Dostoyevsky absolutely BTFO by a Dazai keikaku
The only real choice is Alagi, he even won games after getting brain damage
>Kira
gets a first win gets full of himself fucks up hard later
>Kaworu
fails but makes my death ok by being a nice guy
>no game no life
didnt watch guess she´s mid tier
>yang
why would i bet on someone with hardcoded morals
>terrorsandwich
good bet, would like to win at all cost and can time travel
>sakamoto
always a good bet
>bottom row
dont know but they seem very edgy
>bottom right
top tier in tactics and psychology
well it´s saka >tsierednich and the rest sucks for me
Who's the purple guy?
I never watch/read No Game No Life but is the girl "smart" like Akagi, Usogui, Akiyama or is she "smart" like Lelouch, Sherlock BBC and the like?
As smart and plot armor needs her to be.
Scholars posting first? Is this opposite day?
No, she's just a human calculator.
Smart enough that she can math out NPC pathing and calculate far enough into the future just from playing a videogame for a few minutes to determine the exact position everyone needs to be in to guarantee that a shot lands right when it needs to. She's only half of the combo (the other is the brother) but she's at or near the top of this list in games, easily.
Russian guy from Bungou Stray Dogs. Always four steps ahead of you, until the plot asks him to lose, which it always will because he's the bad guy.
plot armor
Kaworu and yang are shit gamblers (kaworu is specially bad)
Makima and kaiji are madmans
Usogui (i wnat to believe top left is usogui) is a EPIK KEIKAKUMASTER (plot armor)
Didnt watch the others
Sakamoto is the only correct awnser
