Except the story of Ranma 1/2 was about a guy who'd use his girl form to manipulate both men and women which would ultimately put him in the zany situations that made the series entertaining to watch simply for its novelty. Whenever I see "trans" whatever in public I just feel bad for that person because they are obviously mentally unwell.
Ranma 1/2 Reboot?
okay, so am I the one dude centralized enough in my sexuality to just enjoy this series for what it is?
Im surprised to hear Ranma was popular back in the day in the US, unlike everywhere else where it became a phenomenon apparently it was never broadcasted in the states.
I don't know, I think all the central cast learned things from their curses and grew as a result.
Akane would probably call the both of them freaks, especially Ryoga; she's the most prudish and homophobic character in the series.
As for the fights... well, you could really go either way with that, but I would think that, even if Ryoko does get the same -Str/+Spd as Ranko, she'd still be monstrously strong. Let's not forget Ranko can swing around Ryoga's weighted umbrella AND carry Akane simultaneously with no effort whatsoever.
Yeah femguy Ranma made me a bit uncomfortable, much like irl trans people.
