No-no, while as a moralfag I have personal issues with evil characters doing what they like, as I said in the previous and other thread, my real complaint is that I feel like Maru fucked up character consistency.
I find it unbelievable that Ainz, who really prefers to build goodwill with people instead of dominating them through fear, and Demiurge, who wanted to make Ainz and Momon the heroes in the eyes of people as opposed to Jaldabaoth's big bad villain, would completely disregard all that in favor of Renner's plan. Ainz might be emotionally stunted but would he really think that Jirc would love an idea of a mountain trip with a guy responsible for slaughtering around 90% of a massive Kingdom's population? Then there's a question of how Ainz's various non-Nazarick, non-evil and non-crazy allies would react to news. Or how Maruyama will ignore all of that in favor of more wacky sausages. Basically, while I think there's a lot of interesting things in volume 14, it seems to me that Maruyama sacrificed the consistency of his writing in favor of making Volume 14 "HAPPENING!" the Book.
