I miss 2D Bandori so much, I wish they kept that style. The CG just looks out of place and looks really cheap.

Nah I prefer the 3D. It looks like the game so it doesn't feel weird and the 2D looked off-design and straight up ugly

The 3D is gorgeous

I don't mind CG when done right, and I must be in the minority in that I really liked the CG in Kotobuki, but the CG in Bandori looks really choppy and clearly has very low framerates.

While season 1 obvioulsy had a low budget and it had several QUALITY moments, it looked pretty fucking good when it wanted to, meanwhile this CG seasons have a more consistent quality but still look like ass
True, the 3D models look pretty good and are indeed amongst the best in 3D anime, however the problem is the animation, as the tripfaggot said it is choppy and looks like ass, also there are some situations where it is pretty shit, like that one episode of S2 with the concerts under the rain, where the girls were supposed to be wet but the only change was that their colors were darker lmao

I like Afterglow and their originals, but they have more boring covers than the other bands and the characters are better during mixed band events than when interacting with each other.
