Story is pointless and the jokes not that funny but I think people have hope the story will become interesting later

I think if by some miracle it lasts long enough to get an anime they will completely rewrite the start to be more in line with more recent developments and a little less awkward in general.

I just don't find it interesting nor catchy. It has a already seen premise with already seen characters and an already seen setting. Told in the most direct and unimaginative way, without engaging interactions between the characters. Is not bad persè, it's just terribly mediocre for me. It would probably score better in another magazine.
