Fuck just finished space dandy and it hurts so bad. What do i do now?

It's like bebop, but with less serious and more comedic, with overall far less interesting characters and settings, but better animation. I thought it was ok, but nothing excellent.

it's relly disjointed, it's more a collage of different people wanting to do there own thing than a cohesive story, like Panty & Stocking but even more stretched out and not the same highs, although it has it's moments very episodes were 3 with the alien girl and 24/the last one

The finale was maybe the worst ep, they were just ticking boxes. Plant ep, high school musical ep, limbo ep, and pretend boyfriend ep were best.

It's hard to believe Space Dandy aired six years ago now. Watching the show then browsing the threads afterward brought spectacular times, and this series actually managed to have a really good dub too. Never forget the DROPKIX.

i've been around a long time newfag, and I've seen all of those anime, and none of them are better than space dandy, they're not even like space dandy.

also way better pacing, more fun, better color and animation, just better art in general.

its not like bebop at all wtf. bebop was darker, had a direct plot/story line. more character development. overall it was more of a proper story.
just cuz space is involved doesnt mean they are the same at all.
i love dandy. watched it at least 4 times now. dandy is very random, has some dark shit but then it gets reversed into something positive and uplifting by the end of the episode. and its focused more on comedy compared to bebop

also spends most of its time making reference jokes to other series like bebop instead of doing its own writing.

Bunch of japanese animators wanted to have fun mostly.

I don’t think I’ll ever have the same feeling I got midway thru college, sitting in my living room with my sister watching the premier of I Can’t Be The Only One, Baby. Died of laughter thru it all and slowly turning our heads to look at each other in shock at the ending.

I'm currently watching this, on episode 4, and so far it has been just OK.
I don't care that much for the charas, several jokes fall flat or are uninteresting.
Animation's good though.

Watching it as it premiered on toonami with /tg/ was an awesome experience. That was the peak of my anime watching.
Sure there might be better stories and fight scenes and stuff out there, but nothing will top sharing the hype

Watch Cowboy Bebop.

They both have a very similar story structure in that they are both primarily episodic, and obviously they share the same director which is why I made the comparison in the first place. They both use similar methods to try to achieve very different results, tonally extremely different, but story structure wise almost identical.

I don't know about that one man, I mean its a very different aesthetic for sure, but bebop is pretty fucking solid artistically speaking. It may not reach the same heights in its animation, but its still pretty amazing and the backgrounds and character designs are pretty much perfect.
