Don't be dumb. Railgun is the only reason most fans tolerate the main story and its other retarded spinoffs. Hell, even Astral Buddy is better than the main story. NT's joke of an ending and being allowed a part 3 is proof of that.
Raildex
If she wasn't less afraid of him, why didn't she never once worry he might come after her because he's mad she fucked his plans? Why was she never worried he might not go after Touma and win this time? Yes, I am aware WE know Accelerator was never gonna do anything like that, but as far we know SHE doesn't know. Unless she actually does, and knew it before Last Order ever was a thing.
Accel was a wet noodle at the time. He could have been out for hours.
I'm not pretending anything. I barely even come across people who mention the series all that much, and in rare cases I've interacted with them they know Index's novels are better than the anime, they just can't be arsed to pick it up because the Index anime made them lose interest.
So this post and many like them don't exist, huh
Funny how that post only showed up right after this got brought up. Really makes you think.
What happened immediately after Touma knocked Accelerator out and then passed out himself could be something that's covered in the Accelerator backstory novel that's coming OR in Railgun/Accelerator, I guess. It may seem like trivial information, but it could shed some interesting light on the series as a whole. For example, if it really WAS mostly Accelerator's conscious decision to not finish off an unconscious Touma, as well as Mikoto and Imouto that cemented it as a loss and led to the end of the Sisters project, it would make
"Accelerator hated the project and wanted it stopped" as well as "it's all to make Touma look good" thing carry weight.
Because in the middle of the arc when she came across false information that the project was over just before she met Touma at the vending machine. She was almost instantly relieved and not afraid that Accelerator would come after her. #10032 also informed Touma in the middle of the night that the project ended and probably informed Mikoto too. She mostly knew Accelerator was a poster boy for the experiment, if the experiments were done the sisters would no longer die. Prospecting the sisters was all she was concerned about. She knows there's no personal conflict between her and Accelerator, so can't see why she'd be afraid he'd come after her.
You guys misunderstood that shit so bad it's embarrassing. Mikoto isn't afraid of Accel and she doesn't hate him either. She was angry in the heat of the moment when she attacked him, but obviously saw him as just another pawn/victim of the experiment after she cooled off. What she was afraid of was her own powerlessness in the face of the situation. The fact that she couldn't save her clones without shoving the burden onto someone else. Mikoto is similar to Touma in that her own safety and well-being are never, ever taken into consideration. She'd probably welcome Accelerator coming after her if it meant he leaves the clones alone. She's more than capable of holding her own defensively.
A month to go until we see the best dark side team again in OP2.
