It’s fun

it's my favorite anime and has my favorite OP ever (Hitori no Your). on the last volume of the manga right now and i've never enjoyed anything to the degree i have this in my life

No

It's bad

> #1 of most lists made in '00s
> is it any good?

Hell yeah, it's an amazingly great balance of life-brightening humor and the bleak, harsh realities of harassment in schools for students and teachers alike.

Yes.

You got your (You), now fuck off.

GTO? More like GTFO of my board if you watch this trash

besides being funny face man manga & anime, it's really fun and i love it. i'd really like a remake but sjws would be all over it unfortunately

Literally the best anime ever.

le funny face humour and the storylines got repetitive. It was alright though.

Who cares you're probably new, your lack of hindsight shows.

Does Shonan ever start getting better?
I'm reading it but its currently just virgin jokes and love triangle with a dash of Onizuka almost getting raped by a STD ridden whores.

Its o
Overrated, but for the most part a pretty fine anime

>sjws would be all over it unfortunately
they will love the part about the fake accusation without any repercussion nor punishment for sure

Yes

It’s just a boomer anime

Who is best girl?

>on the last volume
oh no no no who's gonna tell him

Bad Company and Shonan Junai Gumi are much better.

My only complaint is the spin-offs are suppose to be "sequels" but don't feel like "sequels" at all. It just feels like a shell of the original GTO.

It’s alright, got kinda boring after 15 or so episodes though

Wohohohoho!
CRASH
Into the rolling morning!
FLASH
I'm the coolest driver's hiigh!
Saekou no FINA~RE wo yeah!

Shonan 14 days or prequel? I tought that Shonan 14 days was pretty chill.

Absolutely based.

Also how old are Onzika class supposed to be? In one translation it says 14, and in other it is 16.

Tomoko

How far is the anime adapted compared to the manga?

The manga is better and funnier. The anime only covers about 40% of the mangaand the ending of the anime is not canon

And also manga is way more harsher, and anime outright skips some other stuff. For example secene in my pic is not shown in anime version.

This board is full of homo and retard who are obsessed with ship, romance and moe.
So no they can't appreciate something good like GTO

I already read the entire manga and love it, but I'll give it a try

Does it cover the Suguru rampage arc?

No
Last thing in canon that it covers is Okinawa summer trip.

Usually it is other way around. Anime is pretty good too in my opinon, but manga is still superior choice.

Go fuck yourself you gay ass newfag. Go back to watching your re:zero or slime isekai, or whatever the fuck you kids watch these days, and leave this masterpiece alone. Either you have the gayest taste on earth, in which go kill yourself, or you are just baiting, in which case, made me reply.

I've come to the conclusion that wimpy NGE fagbois hate GTO, and that chads like GTO.

DAKARA LONELY LONELY

But what if I love both equally? GTO is one of like five of my favorite anime.

Ahh man I wanted too revive the metamorfosis arc

I normally can't watch older shows cause I hate the art but GTO was great. Actually funny

I want to ask does anything meaningfull happen to plot of Paradise Lost? By looking at the description it seems like some weird cashgrab. And I heard that no old characters return.
I have read Shonan 14 days and that was pretty great and in my opinon can be considered the normal part of GTO. I now started reading young Onizuka and that seems really weird, at least compared to main stuff.

A walking deux ex machina

>he dosen't realize that GTO is low-level superhero setting
feel pretty bad for you

That's because everything related to Fuyutsuki is shit. Urumi=Shinomi>Tomoko>Trap Young Onizuka fell in love with>STD-whores in Shonan Junagi Gumi>Fuyutsuki

It's kind of problematic

Toroko

It's bad.

Yes. First two episodes are pretty slow but each arc after that was great.

it was pretty good, though as far as I remember the last arc of the manga was pretty retarded even for GTO

yea, Shonan 14 days and its 3 chapter special Black diamond did that idea a whole lot better.

It's the worst anime ever made, read the manga which is the best manga ever made.

why a remake? yeah, it's not the prettiest anime, but some of its charm is how the look and feel screams the 90s. also the dub is hilarious and can never be replicated.

huh?

dude...the manga is solid. but gto is one of the few cases where the anime is better than the books.

what?
then what the fuck happened to onizuka?

You could read the manga.

The pacing gets really bad and Onizuka becomes a literal superhero surviving fatal wounds/death which kinda shits on the better paced chapters in which he's just a good-for-nothing with a golden heart.

piss off
anime gave me this
youtube.com/watch?v=TdZjdGN5TSo

well atleast the anime was concluded with respect

This, the anime was total garbage the manga is a must.

I'd still recommend reading the manga, as there are some good arcs unadapted.
Just keep in mind that it gets a bit stupid by the final arc.

I don't really think this is the case. Compare the GTO adaptation to Shinbo's SZS adaptation for example. Zoku in particular.

No
