Anyone else think Julius is kinda pointless as a character? His niche should have been filled by Haruo or even wakatsuki, since their thing is being really strong. I don't have disdain for him and it'll be neat to learn a little bit more of him in omega but as is "big strong guy" is boring next to the rest of the kengan cast.

Yeah but you can't really blame Kazzy, the "best" of the new generation was man handled by notMeguro. The fighters you listed would've put up a fight or destroyed him.

Yeah I'm heavily biased, but I like Meguro especially since his fight was the most gruesome in the tournament. Really materialized how dangerous and ruthless the fights could get.
I liked Julius when he wrecked the dancer, but his fighting style was too unrefined to me. And fuck Okubo.

notMeguro isn't likely to have a brutal fight again, or if he does he'll kill without a drop of blood being spilled.

We also could've had gigachad Haruo filling that niche instead.
I mean, even within a series' internal logic, why would Kazzy pick/allow factual nonames like Ryuki or Hermano del Meguro over proven fighters like Cosmo.

I really don't understand why Sandrovich didn't focus on the younger fighters with more room to grow for Omega. It seems like a more logical direction to go with for a sequel series and it would keep the power scaling from spiraling out of control.
