Did they tone down the CGI? I love the manga (minus the Houken nonsense which hopefully is done for good after the last few chapters) but I remember the anime looking like a PS1 game.

Thank god they changed all the production team and increased the budget.
Also Ten looks more femenine and fucking chinese names in the subtitles

So far only CGI for the hundred of troops. Single battles, dialogues, important character movements, animation, etc is full 2D.
Music is also a major improvement.
