Will she ever come back?

Isla is like a Yas Forums thread - once it's deleted it is gone forever.
You can always make a new thread about the same topic, but it will never be the same.

She's dead user, we have to move on. ;_;

I'm just glad Japan acknowledge this series, it was the GOAT.

Good show

My favorite Sora Amamiya role.

Why would we want her to come back? She kill... sorry, brought peace to tens of families. Why shouldn't she be kill... pacified too?

Plastic Memories was probably the most monstrous antiutopia out there. Classic stories like Blade Runner or 1984 are pretty nice compared to it, and so are the anime dystopias. The worst part is that Plastic Memories is incredibly realistic and is probably what will happen pretty soon.

wait she killed people?

>Make a perfect wife android
>Put a short time limit on it
What kind of sick fucking joke is this?

In every episode? Robots are equivalent to humans and have full human rights which is stated pretty directly.

>time limit hits at the exact date and after the exact amount of time
>there is no physical harm to the robot, yet there is a sudden destruction of its mind/software
>the time limit does not kill or shutdown the robot, but instead makes it kill its family
>so now you have a special killing teams (reinforced by a special pmc) who kill the robots
>they don't just kill the robot, but force the family to sign the papers and watch the killing
>they also bring the literal coffin with them and force the family to watch their beloved one being put in a coffin
>robots are fully human in every way
user, that was obviously done on a purpose.

The only person deserving a pinch of sympathy out of all the cast.

I always thought it was a morality factor kind of thing, like, humanity created the perfect replica of a human, what you think people would choose if they were designed to last forever? These robots were made to support people that need them, not to replace real humans, I say is a pretty smart way to stop this from happening in a realistic way.

Surely the people who buy these robots know that eventually they have to get repo'd, right?
I don't think it's ever a secret.

She was great.
I miss her.

Yes they do, is part of the contract.

And that's probably the worst point. If one day out of a blue someone kills your daughter, you can be overwhelmed by the news and do nothing. But if you know that your daughter will be killed at the exact date and don't scream bloody murder, then maybe you deserve it.
>robots
They are legally equal to humans. So if the stuff above will be applied to the actual humans, there will be no difference.

So in the PM world you can make a contract that you are obliged to kill (or to give for a killing) a human after a certain amount of time.

>They are legally equal to humans.
Are they? I don't remember that part. It seems odd that they could be bought and sold like objects and still get human rights.
I don't see why you'd even want one besides as a maid or a sexbot. You can't get that attached to it because you know it has to get taken away in so many years or whatever. Unless people buy them thinking that maybe they can get a software patch and stick around longer.

>Are they? I don't remember that part.
In the episode with an onee-chan bot (Marcia) euthanasia she is abducted. Then someone asks if she can be just tracked via satellite. The answer is that the robots have full human rights, so they can't be tracked. The non-tracking part is extremely funny, but the human rights part is more important. It shows that the forced euthanasia of robots is legally equivalent to the forced euthanasia of humans.

>taking that literally
So you think the whole show is based around an illegal practice?

Well that's especially odd, since there isns't a government on the planet that would have a problem with spying on its own cattle/citizens.

No, it is based around a fully legal practice! That's the main point: in the Plastic Memories universe it's perfectly legal to euthanize humans by force and force their families to watch.
Now a real question would be: you have a team composed of humans and robohumans who go to the families composed of humans and robohumans and kill the robohumans. What else can such a team easily start to do?

Angel Beats-tier humour.

Did they fuck?

read that thumbnail as
"my BRAP isla"
can she even fart?

what would it smell like and how loud would it be?

Why doesn't Dogakobo make good anime anymore? What happened?

>Make a perfect wife android
>She outlives you
It wasn't going to end well from the start user, all the possible endings with a robo waifu never end well

Ironic since it's the Sci;Adv writer

Some exec they have likes to make yurishit, and another exec doesn't and prefers good stories without subhuman pandering. Hence why we get kino anime like this show, Majestic Prince, Nozaki and Danberu, and other seasons absolute trash yuriflops like Koisuru Assteroid.

The good ol PA works pattern

A literal cow

robo

This to be honest, the concept of Plastic Memories is actually genius.

Why didnt they fuck? He had all the possible permissions

>super advanced tech
>no one thought about making backups
y-yeah

>That episode were they just spend time together ending with isla letting the mc read her diary
>That whole ferry wheel sequence at the end
>The way you hold back your tears despite your pain and try so hard to smile

Bros....

whys it always got to be like this

Because the series have no libido, only pure mortido.

is isla supposed to be a 2010s version of rachael?

Read the VN canon ending

What makes you think they didn't fuck off camera?

VN??

Visual novel

>looks and feel very human
>it's all fake because she's an android
bruh

Anima Yell! was the last good one

>make backups of Giftia
>open arguments towards human immortality
Conclusion: this is a world that enforces planned obsolescence.

Let them chose when they want to get euthanized

i lovee her

she's really a robot?

>marked for deletion (old)

They'd better make more cgdct instead of trying into drama.

>There are "people" in this thread that want to lewd Isla
Disgusting
