Which leaves a stale taste in the readers mouth as revenge is satisfying as fuck.

this series is still the biggest disappointmen i've ever had. The first 30 or so chapters were fucking amazing and then it didn't know what the fuck it was doing after that.
Should've figured it out when sung joo pulled the "you know those book that depicts the real world and casually end the story in 2016 (year of publication)? Lol they were fake, it was just a coincidence they looked like the real world, it was to trick readers".

Also they abuse the fuck out of "something happens and only after that flashback to explain why it was important". They should have never done the timeskip, the entire late game is based around emma coming around feeling empathy for demons, but we never see her forming it and getting to know demon society

Making Emma's conviction and the story all the more baffling. What could the solution possibly be, if the demons literally can't survive without preying on humans? You could talk reasonable people into becoming vegans if you showed that animals were sentient to the same degree humans were, but if you revealed that without meat they'd wither away and die, it'd be more difficult

Shingeki no Kyojin made it pretty clear, though. Humans did nothing wrong by seeking the eldian race's extermination. And there is nothing wrong with Eren retaliating

I think you're misremembering. Emma asked him what happened 30 years ago because the books only went up to that date and he replied that nothing in particular happened. Once they got to Goldy Pond they found out William Minerva was only able to provide them with books up to that date because he got found out and had to go on the run afterwards, the books themselves are legit and the human world exists on the other side.
