I was expecting them to show up again but I was also kind of expecting new winners to show up as well
A long time. There's still Majo no Moriboto to be axed, as well as a shit ton of others that are ending. If it doesn't get axed within these next 10 chapters, Mitama has a good chance to survive the year.
guardian is improving in quality so if they give it a color page to bring people back it might get to last a bit longer

Pigeon-sama dice que necesita almas para que esto suceda, por lo que Yuko trae personajes de otros manga de Jump para sacrificar sus almas. Pigeon-sama recupera el cuerpo de Mitama, pero dice que todavía no tiene conciencia. Debe haber otro sacrificio necesario. Yuko luego mata a Rena Haze para completar el sacrificio. Mitama regresa. Yuko la convoca a ella y a Mitama lejos del infierno.
Después de eso, Pigeon-sama finalmente tiene un recipiente humano que puede usar para ingresar al reino humano. Posee el cuerpo de Rena y cambia su apariencia. Bajo el nombre de "Makima", Pigeon-sama ahora camina sobre nosotros ...

Mori King and Bone Collector both have their slots freed up, but the new series in Issue 24 is going to need a slot. Hopefully Guardian of the Witch will get the ax
if Witch Guardian gets axed soon, then Mitama should be safe, since I doubt WSJ will start new series before KnY and possibly Bokuben and TPN end
I think it's too soon to call Witch Guardian's axe. It's not doing too hot but I don't remember it being Zipman levels of bad on the ToC.

The editor probably tried to get Pigeon-sensei to draw some less shoujo designs and this was his answer.
I'm surprised he hasn't started a serious arc yet. If he wanted to wrap things up by the time the new series get serialized then I would've expected him to start tying up loose ends by now

Photographer looks like someone tried to draw an actual spirit but Pidgeon decided to be an ass and make him look sort of human
if he is axed, I'm predicting that he won't bother with a serious arc, and the last chapter will end with Rena's parents finding out that she's being followed around by a man that's 10 years older than her and flipping out
