The premise is basically "Hunter x Hunter: the Dark Continent" with shinobis and samurais.
Feudal lord find a distant island where there might be a Immortality elixir, send deathrow convicts and samurais guarding them to retrieve it. Neither party can trust eachother, and the island is waaay more deadlier than they thought it would be.
Most of the cast rates from good to great, fights are good and so are the antagonist and the plot twists, art is good as well.
As the dumper user said, is a serie with a decent (although somewhat normal) premise exectuted fairly well. And there are tons of best girls.

Yeah, the samurai are all pretty bland right now.
I'm still hopeful myself. The main one went from having no personality to becoming a pretty interesting and convincing version of an orderfag in one chapter so I'm not really worried.

To be honest I'm starting to think if she's real she might secretly be a badass ninja too. I mean the Chief never said why he was so butthurt that they decided to chase him down when he was just trying to be left alone, could maybe be related to his daughter.

Mei is a Tensen and she's kinda cool. So is Rien, and the brother sister pair were sad but yeah I cannot remember the rest at all.

Yeah, but as an organization shinobi's are much greater than asaemons and especially Tensen. Their conversation with Gabimaru in this chapter was really good.

Gabimaru doesn't exist in this world because all records of his existence have wiped off, but he's still an actual person who lived. Yui doesn't exist because she was never real in the first place.
So both of them don't exist, but their conditions are different. The shinobi is pointing out that once Gabimaru's existence is erased, there's no need to pretend his wife is real anymore, thus ending here existence as well.
