Saying the truth isn't bait. Everything after Gohan's fight with Super Buu spiraled out of control straight into the dumpster. Potara showing up just to fail? Trash. Kid Buu's demise? Trash. EoZ? Trash. BoG? Trash. RoF? Complete trash. Everything else? GARBAGE.
The writing also dropped significantly after Gohan's fight with Super Buu, trickling down into DBS as well. Pre-climax of their fight everything was written well, but post-climax AT stopped caring about the franchise as a whole which is why he immediately ended it despite saying he'll continue for longer.
Just look at that contradictory statement made post-climax done in order to move the "plot" (used loosely since there is not story post-climax) forward. Lazy effortless garbage, just like everything else post-Gohan vs Super Buu.
