Now that I finally watched the episode myself, it was pretty mediocre.
The duel was bad and as I expected Gakuto is really annoying a shame he's supposedly a main character.

This was literally no different than any other kid’s anime currently airing. Which is kind of sad because Yugioh shows are always one step higher in their quality and uniqueness. But this was painfully mediocre. Everything from the uninteresting protagonist to the boring duel. At least make the duel fun to watch but they can’t even do that.

they can buy rush products online like how tcg/ocg players do but aside from that, rush format doesn't have it's own events or simulator and you add the pandemic to that makes it seem like it's looking grim for rush duels.

Finally watched it with subs. The story is pretty interesting so far and the characters' interactions are really cute. Perfect time to get back into YGO.

At least the opponent could do everything Yuga was doing this time, way better compared to Arc-V Yuya solo pendulum spam game and Yusaku getting link from his fucking ass.

I really hope he does have a duel on it. His opponent can be on a scooter.

Sevens was a mistake

Yuga is so boring. I knew it would be hard to get behind an 11 year old but they have to give him something that I can latch on to. Yuya had his connection with his dad and his dream and Yuma was a socially awkward kid without his parents trying to be the cool kid in class. And those were established in the FIRST episode.
