Since Koga's out and we've timeskipped directly to the tournament, we can assume it'll be a minor arc and the real thing will be a bigger, badder setting where Koga will participate, right?

Oddly he's also the most bland and uninteresting fighter. The niko style has frankly no personality, it's just a collection of videogame attacks, and Niko and Ryuki pull the "chill guy with a murderous background" act better. Only good Ohma was the wild dog persona he had.

Kazzy is a sharp businessman now, hence doesn't give a shit about a scrub like Koga

Sure it may seems that way because it's been nothing but MUH OHMA lately, but I think that's because sandwich just like to focus on a thing or two for each volume. We still have like 3-4 chapters left for this volume and after some cliffhanger (most likely Purgatory's related one), the focus will shift away from our previous MC.
