Darkness can take multiple actions at the same time, including contradictory ones. We can assume this because science fiction writers almost always use the schrodinger's cat trope and fujimoto's been overdue so we can assume that the "reviving power" is actually makima changing the outcome of her death.
So in summation, we can all relax and look forward to Quanxi and the lesbian devils having the happy ending they deserve.
