It wasn’t anything special, it was simply just 2 episodes with slightly more runtime smashed together. Especially the first half feels pointless to me. Take away the fanservice like handholding, bathing and hairdressing and what's left is another "accept yourself / believe in yourself" story. Amy’s progression from a sluggish ignorant girl to a proper student was poorly handled, we saw almost nothing of her training, just talking with Violet and suddenly she was ready to become a perfect bride? How did talking to Violet helped her to balance a book on her head?
