The only good part in the entire Part 5 was the opening
JoJo
BREAKDOWN BREAKDOWN
Jojo peak is the part 1
Honestly, Traitor's Requiem was a huge step down from Fighting Gold and one of my least favorite Jojo OPs overall. The variations were great, but the rest of it was just a clip show of a bunch of shit that hadn't happened at the time it came out, with none of the visual flair of the older OPs. Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town is my least favorite of them, but it still showed more creativity than Traitor's Requiem.
>The variations were great, but the rest of it was just a clip show of a bunch of shit that hadn't happened at the time it came out
Well yeah, it’s shit. But then when you watch it after the show ends it looks great and it looks like a summary of the entire story but if it was good
Only good parts in Part 5 were:
>Opening 1
>Bruno vs Beach Boy
>Mista vs Kraftwerk
>Mista vs White Album
>Narancia vs Tiziano and Squalo
>Narancia vs Formaggio
>Doppio vs Metallica
>Abaccio death
Part 5 could've easily been the best part if it went into the right direction. The ending was horrible and it's a shame because the first half up until Doppio vs Metallica was probably the best Jojo's until they ruined it.
2>3>4>1=5
Reading through part 7 now, and it's probably going to go either tied with pt 2 or 3
Making him pose as Dio was cringe. And just drives home the fact how fucking irrelevant him being Dio's kid was in the story. Utter waste of a character.
OP 2 really grew on me, I hated it at first and I still do not think it's one of the better openings.
>anime only’s are really like this
Jojo has stopped being good since part 2, stop milking the series.
This
Best OP too
>torture dance
>Il Vento d'Oro
>Grateful Dead and Beach Boy
>Metallica
>7 page MUDA turned into a meme
>Freaky Friday a la Jojo
What elements of 2 do you think the later parts should've retained?
The main character having a personality
No more episodes that follow the same, actual unique power abilities, Intresting cast that have their in the story, artstyle, etc.
Hamon
Fights that were about the skills and powers of the fighters, and not about how to work around the villain of the week’s specific gimmick
Less filler
Have the main villain actually be present for more than the final two episodes
name 1 filler episode in jojo's
Food eating episode in Part 4
that episode was great
how is that filler when it was in the manga?
But that is literally one of the best JoJo episodes. Araki's writing works the best in more episodic content, it's just how he is. Everything else suffers.
part 3
Not that user but I think he is a little bit right, and I would even say that third did pretty good. I mean just take the overall plot of the second part: american gentleman prankster with his gayish italian dude trains under his mother whom he has hots for to learn sun kung fu so that he can stop 3 barely clothed aztec vampires. Also, the most based nazi helps them to save the world.
Part 3 while boring in some parts still kept some bizarre aspects, Indian toilets, joseph episode when he grows tumor stand, baby-eating shit, stand that turns you into kid, etc... And while part 4 and later have some bizarre elements it is mostly just dudes with stands trying to do something more or less, and some of them are mad.
Yeah, I also noticed that the story became less wacky and more serious, which doesn’t really work in JoJo’s setting
Pretty much all of part 4 is pretty bad filler
>Joseph character assassinated by introducing a random illegitimate child from cheating on Suzi Q
how would each leader villain fair against each other? Like DIO and his empire of stand users, against Diavolo and his gang or Valentine and his army
Bug Eaten
The lackeys don’t really matter since the big guys can slice through them like butter, so it would be DIO vs Diavolo vs Valentine, and I’m pretty sure that DIO wins
Listen up, you guys have some really shit opinions. Part 4 is not "filler" or "a waste". That's the fucking point of the entire part. It's a more realistic setting of an everyday life with stands. They're big little problems. Have you fuckers not seen twin peaks? It's literally small scale problems but if you live in a small ass town with a serial killer, it's a big fuckin deal to you the residents. You clearly missed the entire point of it if you really think that's what makes the part bad.
I honestly wish the main villains weren't so freakishly broken so that they could actually interact with the protagonists more throughout the story and not only become relevant at the end. Disappointed with the constant spamming of time/space powers too, DIO was enough.
Except part 4 is just shounenshit and failed to capture anything Twin Peaks did well.
Do people actually think Josuke was supposed to go back in time? Or is it some inside joke meme in the fandom?
Giorno and koichi vs sabbath was good too
What will Pucci do to the part 6 OP? My hope is that it begins to accelerate, going faster and faster, it then blacks out and get a final reprise of Sono Chi No Sadame Probably wont happen, but i would be kino as fuck
IS THAT DIO?
I RECOGNIZE THAT POSE AND IMAGERY
THAT'S DIO!!!
I KNOW WHO THAT IS!
Why did he even do the DIO pose? What was that trying to convey or tell us about giorno? It meant nothing
story progression that isn't formulaic monster of the week
Characters that have versatile abilities which grow with them and are often used in surprising ways
A main character who isn't dragged around by the rest of the cast and actually makes big decisions for themselves and goes where they want and does what they want
it's just fanservice
nothing more nothing less
Giorno is DIO's son, araki can't write subtle character traits for shit so he uses obvious imagery to express this instead
Great Days > Sono Chi no Sadame > Fighting Gold > Bloody Stream > End of the World > the rest
Chase is underrated
Chase is so bad
>it keeps going faster and faster
>it blacks out and goes briefly through all the OPs
kino
>250 days since Part 5 ended
>No news about Part 6
Am I going to have to wait another year?
I'm more interested in how Valentine will mess with the SBR OP, but your idea for Stone Ocean would be kino.
>goes into alternate universes and plays small bits of all previous OPs
>Oh what's that? You guys want to betray the boss too? Want to team up and take him down together?
You mean the villain.
It took 546 days last time.
There's actually a good amount of involvement with the main villains in 4-6 compared to the other parts. A long fight with Kira in the middle, a couple meetings with Diavolo, and a few fights with Pucci, though more towards the end.
Good Part 5 Fights
>Gold Experience vs Sticky Fingers
>Black Sabbath
>Soft Machine
>Kraftwerk
>Little Feet
>Grateful Dead
>Beach Boy
>White Album
>Mystery of King Crimson
>Metallica
>Green Day
>Oasis
Bad Part 5 Fights
>Man in the Mirror
>Babyface
>Talking Head & Clash
>Notorious BIG
>Silver Chariot Requiem
>Gold Experience Requiem
you cannot dispute this
I don't really like how the song sort of falls apart once the chorus starts, but I do like the OP as a whole. My biggest problem with it is the same one I have with the Last Train Home ED.in that it mostly covers a point in the series that it's laughably out of place for. When it started we were still getting silly episodes like Rat and fucking Cinderella.
remember when dio went to prison?
Great Days > Bloody Stream > Fighting Gold > Sono chi no Sadame > End of the World > Stand Proud > Chase > Traitor's Requiem > Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town
>Valentine speaks in English
>Voice of the Legion to indicate multiple alternate universes, before merging into one
>D4C interrupts the intro
>Tusk interrupts the intro
>THE WORLD interrupts the intro
DavidPro would be top tier based if they can pull the OPs off.
DavidPro would be top tier based if they can pull anime off.
God I hope they pull it off
They said they wouldn't compromise and make the horses CG, so that gives me some hope
