Went through it a few weeks ago. Was generally okay for a typical battle shonen, really liked the Muramasa type vibe it had. Felt like the season blew it's load way too early though, dragging out a glorified training montage for like five episodes and making that the 'grand finale' was a chore to sit through.

The time period also feels kind of weird for what they're trying to pull off with the setting. Japan was thoroughly industrialized and participating in conscription-level international warfare by the Taisho era, Tanjiro and all his friends and basically every other male at or around his age should be filling Tzarist Russians full of lead or be training to do so at this point. This whole romantic-mysticism-of-the-samurai-way-fading-under-modernization thing is happening a good 50 years too late, it just feels strange and out of alignment to me.

The organization doesn't have the power or land for that. The level of influence of the organization varies wildly anyway.

I guess their designs aren’t as revealing as other female characters in shounen, but there are better examples out there. Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan, Hunter x Hunter, FMA,etc. I like KnY, but it isn’t a feminist or anti-fanservice show

Because that poison is not just one. Shinobu has multiple types of poison, and it probably takes much time in making. Plus Shinobu swords is designed to inject the poison, she doesn't just scratch the demon with it, she stabs demons multiple times.

They don't go around distributing charms because the Demon Slayer Corp is a secret organization. They need to keep everything in secret in order to avoid being discover by demons. That's also the reason why they don't go around planting wisteria threes (also because wisteria don't bloom all year and a three takes much time to grow)

I think that would work with fodder demons (upper moons are just too fast) though I don't know how difficult it is to make guns instead of blades in the taisho era.

This unironically made the show go from a 9/10 to a 3/10 fucking faster than any other anime has gone for me. There was a more serious tone at the start of the show and around episode 9 the tone drastically did a 180 to meme le loud is funny xD territory. Holy shit, how can people enjoy this garbage show???
