Well it seems the memes were not just memes. Jiren is STILL the strongest antagonist to date. Two (2) years later. Let's check the facts.
After the ToP they had to lower the bar by removing UI out of the picture completely. They were relegated to fighting a saiyan without even using SSBE or SSBKK (both form stronger than what SS Broly faced, yet suppressed Jiren brushed off). Then they used a SSB fusion, which is literally Zamasu-tier, which completely overpowered Broly.
Now in the manga adaptation of the series, they just crawling back to Omen tier. Again, something that Jiren brushed off easily.
See? SEE what I'm telling you? My statements are substantiated with factual analysis of the series in question.
Jiren, without a semblance of a doubt, is STILL the strongest antagonist we've ever seen to date, and who knows for how many more years.

Gogeta is canonically the strongest figure in all of DB history (thanks to fusion) Jiren is the strongest without fusion I guess but he's a boring as fuck character so who cares.

Base Gogeta is at least SSB Goku + SSB Vegeta (2 SSB), because it wouldn't have made any sense to fuse otherwise.
So, SS Gogeta is (2 SSB x 50 mutliplier from SS transformation) 100 SSBs and SSB Gogeta would dosens to hundreds of times stronger but we don't need more than SS.
Jiren in the manga equals 3 to 6 SSB tier fighters (he is not as strong as in the anime), it took 3 tired SSB tier fighters to take a tired Jiren out. That is why 3-6 is accurate.
Jiren in the anime equals 45 - 60 SSB tier fighters.
I get at this number adding SSBKKx20 + SSBE + A17 + Frieza.
Too be fair, this implies that A17 is more than 1x SSB and Frieza (too which is really stretching it).
However, a tired Jiren was brought down by 3 tired SSB tier characters.
The total max of these 3 fighters was (SSBKKx20 + 5x SSB for A17 and 5x SSB for Frieza) roughly 50 SSB.
Jiren roughly equals Broly and Gogeta's SS state, but Broly and Gogeta both have a SS transformation above SS.
This is why Jiren can not be stronger than Beerus.
Broly is roughly near Beerus, but Jiren is below Broly.
Also, I downplayed Gogeta, because we don't know how strong fusion is. We do know that Goku and Vegeta kept training after the ToP and thus were stronger than they were back then.
