Just a couple hours before this Kino music actually mecha anime air. can we have a Hype thread?
This anime is collaboration between Jin (Kagerou project) x Dai Sato (Eureka Seven).
Synopsis : Set in a world where the concept of music ceases to exist. The story begins when a boy encounters Myuu, a mysterious girl who possesses an audio input jack in her body. The two intermingle with the history of rock music and embark on an unforgettable journey.
I'm actually hyped. The entire premise of this sounds like something I posted in a "write an anime plot" thread a few years ago. Considering it's meant to be about various rock genres, I hope we get death metal mecha at some point
Adam Allen
Nana wills it.
Juan Young
>musical mecha >nana mizuki Really makes you think
sounds like total shit- >actually mecha alright I'm sold
Zachary Lee

I'm kind of surprised that Japan doesn't seem to be excited for this despite the stacked cast and staff. It didn't show up at all on that "People Looking Forward To In Spring 2020" poll, which is imperfect but does suggest that interest for it is low at the moment.
Ayden Jones
I hope it's going to be fun and have active threads. I just want an exciting original again.
Oliver Cooper

She didn't even have any song before this. she really a new comer artist.
Cooper Green
Where did she come from? Is she some online singer who was given a break, or did she come out of nowhere?
Ian Gray
Well, Renton from Eureka seven also a fucking ugly so.. Hibiya from Mekakucity actors also fucking ugly. this is like Jin and Dai Sato have common ideas about design for the MC.
Michael King
she come out of nowhere.
she didn't have any track record before this, i'm surprised her voice is so fucking good though.
Nathan Foster
Also, Listeners GIG #3 will air in 20 minutes.
Can someone watch with and dump the info on here? i have other things to do after this.
*39/56 305 votes out of 60,515 Yeah, it is rather low.
Adam Thomas
Well, Dai Sato is more western pandering rather than into local market, and Jin despite really fucking famous ( his twiiter follower even bigger than KanaHana btw ) just pander into people who likes vocaloid.
And it's and original anime, people didn't know what to expecting from the story.
Big name seiyuu also will work really well if they include seiyuu even ticket on the BD.
Ayden Bell
Since Jin making all song for this anime, i hope there is one song similar to Outer science.
I've seen originals that had more hype in Japan so I don't know if being an original is the main reason for the lack of hype for it there. Madoka for example was pretty well-anticipated in Japan before it premiered, and so was Franxx.
Besides, shouldn't big name seiyuu by itself be enough to bring interest for this there?
Owen Russell
Her second song "stay night" would be released as a bonus to new LisAni issue (April 15) >lisani.jp/0000145940/
Nicholas Phillips
If she came out of nowhere, then how did the staff find her?
Luke Foster
Who's the blonde cutie? Not him but yeah, putting all my money on Deca Dence, Great Pretender and Maesetsu.
Ryan Price
>Skate-Leading Stars Sounds like a rip-off of YoI
Wyatt Collins
Yeah, that song is literally her first debut.
Her twitter and Youtube channel also new, her youtube subscriber just 3 people including me.
Her twitter : twitter.com/accamer_jp
William Brown
But where did she come from then? Audition or something? Did Listeners even have an audition for a new singer or something?
William Martin
She debuted under DMM music label, and DMM music label is one of staff for this anime series.
Besides the gayness, actually looks fine. Seiyuu are great and staff looks decent.
Robert Clark
Probably No, but there's a possibility like this:
She actually an indie singer but debuted with another name for other related works.
Well, case like that also happened to ACAね/zutomayo, so i think it's pretty common for something like that.
For audition.. i don't think they will got a vocalist with a fucking good voice like accamer since mostly they will just meet Seiyuu tier typical voice if they held audition for this.
Landon Wilson
I honestly find it hard to believe that Japan isn't excited for a show that has perhaps the most stacked cast of the season. I would have thought that seiyuufags at least would have flocked to this.
Ayden Ross
Christ, wait till it airs first. It's only ~2hrs more.
