there were 2 big problems with th ebleach anime
th efirst was all the filler because the anime was outpacing the manga. there were a few decent filler arcs but a few atrocious ones
the second which was a problem in the manga as well, was the way kubo would write himself into a corner and have no way out, no previously mentioned something that might help, and no one besides ichigo could do anything. it always came down to some asspull that came out of no where that couldve been easily explained or even casually tossed in as exposition earlier on to set it up.
bleach is still awesome though and we'll get some new bleach girls animated so im pretty pumped for that, if they can fix some of the end fights expand on that whole event it would be great

Bleach is perhaps one of the single greatest betrayals of all time. A series that started out as top-tier shit and ended up as just shit. Them editors did my mans Kubo dirty.
Also the thing got cancelled I think because of covid, not entirely sure tho.

Cuz I asked a question about what possible reason someone would have to be looking forward to a Bleach anime given the massive drop of the quality in the series. But enjoy your hugbox harder, faglord.

It's what happens when you lose your momentum as is the case here.

I won't talk about how the arc's ending was rushes as I think everyone knows that.

The thing about Bleach's manga is that lacked enough content per issue to make an episode so the anime had to either make filler or make the pacing tank hard.

This happens with a lot of mangas so it's not that big of an issue, but another issue the manga had is that sometimes the manga would get "artsy" in the sense that the whole issue would be a few slashes here, close ups on the faces of the characters and some pages with only 1 big drawing of a character standing looking cool and the issue was over.

What's the issue with this? you could read some of Bleach's manga issues in less than a minute as there were some that had like 2 lines of dialogue and the rest were all drawings and if you're waiting week after week for content this would mean that some weeks the plot wouldn't an inch as the issues looked cool but had 0 actual content apart from showing a few battle choreography, they were just a lot of cool fighting, slashing, showing off their abilities.

So you eventually get angry at this as you would be waiting weeks begging for something to actually happen and for the plot to move forward.

Now this isn't an issue if you have all the manga available and you don't have to wait weeks just to see the plot move an inch so you can actually enjoy these issues as they flow well and look cool but during it's runtime it was annoying for a lot of people.

Now they have all the material done and ready to be adapted so they can easily put 4-5 issues to make one episode if needed and it will flow nicely.

Another thing is that a lot of the ideas of the last arc weren't bad just poorly executed or weren't fleshed out enough so the material is there to make a good anime out of this arc, it just needs some polish.

Why were people so delusional to think that Ichigo would stay with someone that isn't Orihime? I know that Rukia is better but the only function of Orihime in the show was wanting Ichigo's dick, if wasn't for her and the mc get together then she should never have existed. I believe that the show would improve 100% if Tatsuki got powers and a major role in the show instead of Orihime but Kubo hate us.

Because it actually seemed like Rukia was the main character besides Ichigo at first and the author made it seem like they were continuously growing closer.
Orihime was much more of a side character at first and its never set in stone that characters who take her role end up as the MC spouse, but it did happen to be the case this time.
Orihime is lucky shes designed adorable af otherwise it'd be less acceptable.

Man the biggest tragedy of Bleach was that Tite Kubo was forced to rush to the shinigami arc to avoid being cancelled. He's fundamentally not a great writer, I think the last arcs proved that, but he had a good premise and a good plan. If the initial arcs focused more on his human world adventures and the shinigami arc happened in the "mid-late game" it could have been so much more fun.

And by shinigami arc I mean soul society arc.

I can't fucking wait for this. Shame there isn't a Soi-Fon to go with it. Could stand to be a bit perkier too.
