Cheap promotional material. As long as the LN gets a boost (it did) they are happy. Which is a bummer considering most anime adaptions turn out low budget trash, preventing a real adaption happening ever again.

Not really for the suicide series, each one was about as strong as the centipede things from episode 1 but were legitimately retarded and will just run in a straight line and mindlessly attack anything in front of it. The whole idea of Plan C was to send a ton of shit monsters that he can build more almost as fast as they die first to make players waste mana and high cooldown skills while the Golden T-Rex and the super slime take out any hard targets and once the first set of monsters died start sending in waves of monsters that can do things like dodge and defend themselves KoD's embryo singlehandedly killed all of waves 2+ though.

It's a crying shame Nemmy's show got butchered.

I don't think they're even doing that bad a job given the episode constraints, it's mostly that the animation's fallen apart for the action scenes.

Everything is wong except the voice acting.

I think people would be much more forgiving of the other issues if it didn't also look awful. Really wonder how the receptions of this and Bofuri would have been had they swapped production values.

A lot (not all of course) of the show's issues to me comes down to episode count. Had to choose between a 2 volume "nothing fucking happens" adaption, or a 5 volume adaption where they needed to compromise and shove most of the worldbuilding and cool little tidbits into web shorts.

Well everything else aside, the OP and ED were pretty GOAT, maybe only beaten by Kyokou Suiri's.
