The issue with a lot from both of these and other genres is the same, they try to fill them with interesting characters yet everything centres around the most boring character.

My main beefs with the Japs are around their inability to understand how relationships work and how also they could spice up their tiresome, at this point, formula:

>every male is a pervert that ends up getting his ass kicked by half-naked females when he accidentally looks them, despite the fact that it was those bitches' fault of not locking the door or parading like that in the building, or even another girl undressed them (doesn't matter the male at the scene will still be the one to get slapped)

I'd also like a lot less kiddy shounens, isekais and harems and more interesting and mature shows like Code Geass, SG, Black Lagoon etc.

The worst trend is the copy the leader mentality anime makers have. Not many studios and companies are willing to try anything new and just produce more of whatever is popular.What's that? Robot anime is the big shit? Better pump out more of this shit to get the bux rolling. Manga adaptations are doing well? Better just pump out as many of those as possible regardless of whether or not the source material is actually good. Supernatural high school harem Light Novels? Better get on that shit, jack. Moe and Isekai are just more of the same and once people get tired of this shit they'll move on to whatever else is popular at the time. I know they need to make money at the end of the day to pay their employees and continue being in business, but it's just so tiresome.

1) Anime is still Jap-centric (and thus free of SJWs). Is it not?

We had a fourth Mad Max movie in 2015, and it was a masterpiece. If anything it's great that the "chuck norris fucks up X country" trend is over.

I was replying to that specific complaint. As for whether these shows are trash or not is really a matter of opinion. Personally, I enjoyed them (although both OPM and Psycho Pass did have inferior 2nd seasons and I agree that there was absolutely no reason for Tanya to be a little girl)

It's the opposite, in fact - the main running gag/theme is the MC trying to secure a comfortable position in the rear and everyone else assuming he/she is an ardent patriot who wishes for nothing else but to serve on the frontlines.
