Live action ended with Washizu's death.
It was implied, but they didn’t show how it happened, which was a very unsatisfying conclusion for me. I knew he would beat Washizu, but I wanted to see how. Never read manga, but I think I’m gonna check this one out
you got a better live action
The Washizu arc ended only last year, it would've been impossible to make a second season. But they should definitely start considering it.
Did not know that, I’ll probably read the manga and just hope they adapt the rest
Live Action already did a COMPLETE adaptation. It's better than the anime and the manga.
just fucking end me bros
how would you guys feel about a Zero adaptation? i really enjoyed part 1 but struggling to get through part 2 really good ideas in the manga though.
At this point anything fkmt related would be ok
because kaiji is actually good and not a piece of mediocrity like akagi
Kaiji's moeer
Kaiji is good, Akagi is better
i watched both anime back to back starting with Kaiji and strangely enough Akagi was so much more hype even though i was struggling to follow what was going on. too bad it took me getting 80% through the manga before i went and started playing mahjong casually myself probs would've made akaji a 10/10 for me and probs the same effect for minefield mahjong in kaiji (which is also my favourite kaiji arc) thanks for reading my blog post
Kaiji is more human and relatable, but Akagi is more entertaining
Also, Akagi mellows out a lot in Ten that makes his character become more complex
Read the fucking manga.
You DID learn mahjong by now, right user.
Of course I did.
Anyone feel like playing a hanchan?
Quit babbling and post a room.

Come if you dare.
3/4
Akagi's character was as complex in Akagi. Ten clarified some of his character traits, but everything was present from the start, except shown in a more subtle way
im not very good but you'd be wise not to underestimate me
How's Mahjsoul? I'm kinda resigned to the fact I'll never get to play mahjong IRL.
come join user, its the most beginner friendly mahjong client. very casual
It's been pretty good, for the short time I've been using it.
Technically it's gachashit but you can't really change the fundamentals of mahjong so all that can be ignored.
Play and judge for yourself.
Does Mahjongsoul lag for anyone else? Is it some kind of chrome issue?
It makes you safe from Coronya!
only when the game is maximised, it seems to be okay in windowed. dunno why
This box... it's amazing
Hmm... FKMT warned me about actually people like you.
First of all, it's in English, so that's great for the EOP.
Tiles have notation at the corner to indicate their number/wind/dragon if you can't read it.
In beginner rooms or friendly rooms, there are tips that indicate dora tiles with a shine, display your wait if you're in tenpai, and you can highlight tiles to see if any of the same visible tiles are already in play/discarded. This option is disabled in higher ranked rooms, and can be disabled in optional friendly rooms.
Friendly has rooms you can make and invite people to, instead of only open lobbies where people just join. There's still a casual match that has that if you want that.
Gatcha, if you want to throw away money, but you start with two of the best characters. Cute girls, and you can emote midmatch.
tl;dr
Ordinary riichi mahjong. Beginner friendly UI. Cute.
user come back please, the game is still going.
How does Gacha affect the gameplay?
>that Kaiji chinese live action adaptation
And yet it was somehow better than the actual japanese adaptation.
It's 100% cosmetics but the default characters are the best anyway so there's really no point.
New characters = New avatar at the table = New emotes.
You can get things like a different tabletop, or special tilebacks, but these are only visible to you.
You can get special riichi sticks, and riichi BGM that plays when you riichi, these get shown to everyone at the table.
None of it affects the actual gameplay.
Of course, there's also a bunch of the usual gacha garbage that you can roll that doesn't really do anything. You gift them to characters to increase bond points, or sell them for a f2p currency that's almost worthless.
Delicious Free Sex sounds?
Delicious Free Sex is voiced by your character.
Who is?
I think that's the first time I've seen a four quads draw. Didn't even know that was a thing.
Oh my god I am so fucking retarded, someone please shoot me.
You deal into kamicha with that 7p?
Kurosawa anime when?
4 Kan forced draw
GG anons. Thanks to the bot for feeding. 2/4 now
I'm glad your stupidity managed to preempt my own.
you damn demons and your inhuman luck. my fast hands never stood a chance
I mean it
>mistakenly furiten
You'll have to pry this dealer spot from my cold, dead hands.
>Tsumo next turn
No better feeling
So did everyone here learn mahjong because they watched/read Akagi?
I did, 15 years ago.
Majsoul Friends Room 52846(4-Player East): mahjongsoul.game.yo-star.com
Get in here boys
>The buda
As everyone else has said,it's really beginerfriendly but it's a bit too slow.Try it and see if you like it you can also try to see if tenho is more of your liking.
>pick a name
Nobody told me about this.
Holy shit
Fuck you
What version of mahjong do I need to learn to watch this shit? I tried after watching Kaiji, but without understanding the game I was completely lost and looking it up there were a billion slightly different rule sets
ALWAYS RIICHI YOUR HELL WAIT OBVIOUS YAKUMAN HAND
Never unfortunately.
This, Akagi always was one of the most well written characters of the medium (if not the most)
Yeah, that's the main reason he has so much staying power
Riichi
play the mahjong soul tutorial.
Why are Yas Forums rooms so rigged?
Yesterday I played 1 and got to Daisangen tenpai
Today I play 1 and get to Tsuuiisou Daisangen tenpai
And now someone gets a Kokushi tenpai, holy fuck.
