the MC has the power of friendship

But he struggles making friends due to be a sperg.

romance, but with the somber twist of the winning girl having actually died the previous year, and all the MC's interactions with her (usually when all the other girls are offscreen) are just a product of his battered psyche

>Fantasy battle shounen world set in 21st century that is parallel to our world
>everyone in this world has magic and can use it to different extents
>only those born with a good amount of mana or come from a lineage of well trained mages can use magic for combat purposes
>there are certain rare individuals who are born with magic unique to only them.
>MC his whole life never thought he use magic discovers he has said rare magic after getting killed
>MC's ability is immortality
>even though MC can't die he still is league behind people who are trained with magic
>MC's compromise is hes able to spam out magic that would normally kill an average person
>MC's foes are always aware of this so battle arent about how they can kill MC but how they can incapacitate him in creative ways with their magic.

Would you watch Yas Forums?

Not sure if something like this already exists, but I'd like to see something limilar to Game of Thrones/ASOIAF, but based in pseudo-feudal Japan and centered around clans with unique hereditary powers (bloodline limits, so to speak).
What it would have:
>a morally gray world where almost no one is fully good or evil and each side in a conflict usually has a point
>constant intrigue, scheming and backstabbing
>battles involving the unique powers and their creative use against each other (Stand user battles might be one such example)
>near-lack of plot armor
>as a result of all above, characters have rely on intelligence and quick thinking to win both on the battlefield and in politics, instead of determination and talk-no-jutsu
>most likely multiple POVs instead of a single protagonist (like in Durarara, Baccano etc)
>would need rich and fleshed-out history of the world and the major and minor clans, their traditions, principles, relationships within and without, etc
It can even be an isekai, with the isekai'd character starting out naive and idealistic and gradually realising the truth about the world and becoming more cynical (like e.g. Rock from Black Lagoon)
Oh, and it can have overpowered characters as well. There are many factors in such setting that can balance them, like lack of political savvy on their part, or their abilities being so feared that multiple factions are actively trying to recruit or kill them)

tl;dr Take GoT, move it to a feudal Japan-like setting and give every House a kekkei genkai

An interesting idea. Then again, incapacitating someone without killing them is not that hard, especially if your magic is vastly superior. MC has to have some counter to that, or he'll just keep getting stomped in every battle.
Besides, this point:
>able to spam out magic that would normally kill an average person
Is said magic on the same level as the what the trained magic users have? Does its use have negative consequences (i.e. rollback)?
Oh, and why does the MC even need to fight? Who are his opponents?
It would need some fleshing out, but I think this idea could work. Nice one.

A comedy/slice of life anime about the organization that isekais people. Each episode can be about them saving a different world while trying to prevent the designated hero from realizing how many problems their organization has and how most of them have no idea what they are doing. Alternatively, it might take a more serious tone in the second half, with the deities (?) learning to be more responsible and care about the people of the worlds they have to save.
Truck-kun, naturally, would be a recurring character.

This sounds like something I would really enjoy

There's a loner

You're only here to waste time but I'm gonna answer your suggestion sincerely anyway just to annoy you. There is a Philip K Dick novel which runs with this idea. The protagonist is a slightly-genetically-enhanced bloke who has amazing charisma. He's a TV celebrity but one day he wakes up and finds no-one knows who he is; his whole existence seems to have been erased.

The book is a bit of a mess admittedly but it does have one of the best titles ever:

Cute Girls make a FaceTube channel as their school club. They parody a different facetube personality every episode.

Then they get doxxed and have to escape a horde of fans and perverts.

This is fine as far as it goes but you're describing more a style of show than a show itself. You'll need to get more specific before the big studios show any interest.

The most interesting idea I think is the bloodlines / hereditary powers thing.

There's lots of potential in a show with a really solid, hard sc-fi grounding of magic/genetics. You can just mirror all the real-world issues with selective breeding for specific traits, e.g.:

* What happens when two contrasting bloodlines are mixed?

* What happens when you push too hard for a certain trait?

* Are there people trying to manipulate bloodlines for long-term ends? (See Dune for this I guess)

etc

There was a short story I've read a while ago. It went something like this:
>Two modern-day scientists discover a member of a previously undiscovered primitive tribe
>Throughout the story, they learn about the history of the tribe
>Apparently, several centuries ago a white missionary found this tribe after being the only one to survive his ship sinking
>The missionary somehow convinced the tribe that he was a messenger of God and got them to obey his commandments
>Being a pacifist, his first commandment was an absolute prohibition on violence
>After listening to this story, one of the scientists suddenly tries to release the tribe member from the quarantine, fighting the other scientist
>It is revealed that due to the ban on violent actions, the tribe members developed powerful hypnosis abilities, which they used to wage wars between themselves
And it got me thinking about the idea of a fighting anime set in a world where fighting is absolutely prohibited, and the characters have to think of indirect ways to defeat their opponents. I'm not yet sure how it would actually work, but the idea itself seems pretty interesting.
No Game No Life is probably the closest thing that actually exists, but it's not quite there.

after school burger eating club

High school girls field hockey sports anime with yuri bait, and Delinquent transfer student girl ss MC.

>a school where children of monsters and heroes try to coexist peacefully
>monsters represent primitive instincts while heroes represent mentality "ideals above all else", over passion for subject of interest or just madness
>the main villain of story is a rogue hero who wants to destroy all humanity because "people no longer want to fight evil, but want comfort, and if evil does things quietly then they are don't care".

Slice of life cute boys doing cute things in a post apocalyptic boarding school. They discover the magic of friendship, alcohol and uh, education I guess.

>ISEKAI COMEDY/ADVENTURE

MC gets isekai'd.

In the new world everyone has some special ability.

Some are modest (juggling, mental arithmetic); others grander (photographic memory, super strength).

These abilities begin to manifest around puberty. However, the more powerful ones are slower to appear.

Teenagers are therefore watched carefully. The longer they remain 'normal', the more interesting they become.

Our hero of course has no special ability.

People are intrigued. They test him to see if there's something he doesn't know about.

He fails all the tests in comedy fashion.

It is therefore assumed that some amazing power is due to arrive.

The longer he remains innocuous, the more he is venerated.

Soon, every great ruler in the world wants this man to marry his daughter.

All he wants is to get home before his genuine uselessness is discovered...

Attached: He Can't Do Anything.jpg (259x194, 6.97K)

That's an interesting premise, but the MC will probably need to have something going for him other than powers in order to avoid being completely useless and annoying.

I like this

I wanted to do a series of short comic strips about a brother and sister on a VR isekai adventure. She’s a dumb bimbo that won’t stop winning and he’s trying to become a top streamer he’s just not very good at the game. I think it sounds generic enough I’d believe there’s already 50 anime about this minus the whole bimbo aesthetic.

>This is fine as far as it goes but you're describing more a style of show than a show itself.
I agree, it's more of an idea for a (somewhat) new setting than an actual plot. I'm yet to finish the actual plotlines.
The way I see it, the anime would have to be pretty massive in order to properly pay off, at least 25 eps + several spin-offs (ideally, with several seasons, movies etc). There would have to be several different subplots that connect at certain points (again, see Durarara for an example of what I'm talking about)
>The most interesting idea I think is the bloodlines / hereditary powers thing.
That would be interesting to exploit, but I'd focus more on social consequences of such problems.
For example, if combining certain bloodlines is expected to bring beneficial results (or, alternatively, to lead to disaster), it would influence politics in regards to interclan marriages in a significant way, leading to plots revolving around unlikely matchups.
Or there might be an organization that is discreetly trying to manipulate clans into creating a specific bloodline through multiple plots and carefully arranged marriages in order to prevent some predicted catastrophe. Naturally, it would be left unspecified to the very end if the catastrophe in question would actually happen.
Or there might be a lowborn mad scientist attempting to give himself a bloodline power. And although his methods are unethical, he does have a point - being born powerless and clanless in this world sucks pretty bad.
Etc, etc
In general, what I'd like to see is:
>more moral dilemmas instead of the standard "here's a demon lord, go kill him"
>more relying on intelligence and thinking outside the box instead of shounen!power of friendship and the like
>more fleshed-out and unique world instead of Isekai Medieval Fantasy #999
>You'll need to get more specific before the big studios show any interest
Eh, just throwing it out there. It's not like they'd take ideas from Yas Forums anyway.

Ironically, this idea is the most likely to actually be made into an anime

Title: Ghost Bullets

Yuriko Kusanagi, a sharpshooter from a female squad is discharged from the military after getting into a fight with another woman over who's supposed to be the best sniper in the team.

One day, her parents and older sister all fall sick after contracting pneumonia from an overseas holiday. To get the money that she needs for her family's operation, Yuriko will have to use her finest sharpshooting skills to work for her evil Yakuza godmother who's making sure that she doesn't goes straight.

Along the way, Yuriko faces off with another assassin who's just as much of a good fighter as her. But things gets more complicated when she learned there's a possibility that her adversary is the same rival in the military whom she had gotten into a fight with a long time ago.

Interesting idea, especially if you don't reveal the twist from the beginning.
So, the first half of the show would be your standand romance/romcom. Then the big reveal happens, other characters learn about it and realize that instead of chasing the MC romantically they should help him overcome his grief instead. The rest of the show is spent with the MC slowly healing his psyche and learning to move on.
At the very least, it would have to have female characters who are actually caring towards the MC and proactive in their relationship with him instead of standard tsundere/kuudere/cannot-spit-it-out types

mc is immortal
but when he is 'killed' time resets and he reincarnated as a infant with his present memories
he is in love with a girl who was/is his childhood friend
she has been a constant in all his lives
in the first episode he confesses to her for the first time
soon after he is killed in an accident
but he doesn't mind if it means he can fall in love with her all over again
however when the time comes for their first meeting she is nowhere to be found

after searching for her in multiple lives he comes to the conclusion that someone is deliberately keeping them apart

maybe time is resetting for someone else too?

So, this guy is effectively centuries old, given all his reincarnations?
And he falls in love with a teenager/twenty-something?
Eh, the idea has some merits, but perphaps not having him start all the way from infant every time would be better

The Last Isekai

Guy gets isekai'd to another world and assumes that they summoned him to fight a great evil but nobody wants him there and they are openly hostile to him. He soon finds out that this fantasy world has had countless young Japanese men summoned there. The first guy was deliberately summoned to deal with a villain but he ended up becoming worse than the villain they summoned him to deal with in the first place. The second guy summoned ended up marrying the daughter of the previous king and ruling the kingdom. He's also a really good king. The kingdom doesn't know why people are still being summoned and it's become a source of frustration having all these NEETs come in and act like they're going to save the world because of all the bad isekais they're watched. MC slowly learns that all of the attractive roles for a "main character" have already been taken in this society and he's just as much of an outcast here as he was at home. He's initially obnoxious and acts like your typical otaku hero, assuming the fiery redheaded female knight would immediately want to fuck him and is tsundere towards him but in actuality she literally wants nothing to do with him and sees him as a pest. Eventually he has no choice but to mature and adapt and find a place in a world that is tired of isekais.

MC has the power to copy other powers
but only one at a time once a day. Hope he gets an actual good power or he's fucked

Eh, that could work, but that's not quite what I had in mind. It would just be Preacher: The Anime or something like this.
It would be more interesting if stronger powers arose from mixing bloodlines, not from Targaryen-like inbreeding (which only happened in the first place because they were the only dragonlord family left at this point). Furthermore, it would mean that each marriage is a political dilemma, especially among powerful clans: is this union advantageous enough to justify strengthening the other clan (that might, in due time, become as powerful as to challenge us)?
Besides, it's not like those rich and powerful clans with magical powers couldn't develop a way to nullify the negative consequences of inbreeding, should they even occur in the first place.

MC is a cunning 24 year old who aspires to be the best neurologist in the entire world, he has the ability to think of situations and have it done in the real world, for example he could think of a glass spilling on someones table, and somewhere across the world it will happen. The more specific the action is the more painful headaches he has.The problem is that he's a major moralfag and swears to never use it for as long as he lives after traumatic childhood experiences from witnessing his parents die at young age, and living in a cruel orphanage his entire life. Then things go sour when he accidentally and brutally vaporizes all of NYC in a dream, which leads to an all out fight between every country and power-hungry group to try and kidnap him. He already starts out with 6 friends, but eventually grows suspicious of them after half (he doesnt know which) try to sell him out. He struggles to avoid and fight the cartel, mafia, multiple govts, etc, all using only his wits and trying his best to avoid using his power. Eventually he starts to go insane from a lack of sleep due to his new fear of dreams, which makes him rash and prone to bursts of destructive anger. Thoughts?

Interesting premise, could make a great show if handled correctly.
Some clarifications:
- How does everyone know that a) he has this power and b) he is responsible for what happened to NYC?
- What exactly are the limitations to his power? Can he, say, kill/displace/vanish a bunch of armed guys that are trying to kill/kidnap him and not die from shock?
- Are there other guys out there with similar powers? Do they try to help him or are they against him?

would watch

I'm sure I've seen this already somewhere (obvious analogies like the Sharingan notwithstanding). This looks more like a gimmick for one character in a superhero-themed show than a plot premise, either way.

I just took it from Kirby

I will never not shill this user's brilliant idea.

Attached: bodyguard_girl.jpg (663x174, 23.01K)

>can't get a girlfriend
>decides to hire a bodyguard
Where's the logic?
(the idea itself isn't bad, even if not particularly brilliant either)

Since the Age of Adam, humanity was constantly besieged by demonic entities. In response to these threats, shamans and exorcists mastered the art of magecraft to repel them and protect humanity. As ages pass however, these shamans and exorcists broke off into numerous squabbling factions, some even conspiring with the demonic powers. Descending from one of these factions is the Order of St George, whose objective is to suppress any demonic incursion and faction that threaten humanity's existence.

MC is considered one of the top exorcists of the organisation, until a failed exorcism shattered his faith, causing him to leave the order for good. However he was forcefully recruited back to lead a new team of younger aspiring exorcists with the growing threat of a mysterious cult and heterodox factions within the church, one in lieu with the demonic powers to "liberate" humanity from the confines of materiality, the other intending a radical reform of the cultus of the Church, considering all motion as evil and impeding union with God.

Because MC does not have faith, he is unable to use the basic toolkit for every exorcist, the text of Scripture, liturgy, Icons, relics and so on to fend off demons. As a result he is the most weakest member of the team in spite of his immense knowledge on dealing with demonic entities. He can only yield firearms against human enemies

1. Pretty much everybody knows his power since he was used for childhood experiments by the CIA, from which documents were leaked, but since he's such a moralfag theyve pretty much let him go while keeping strict survelliance of him.
2. His limit would be destroying/creating 10 actions in a day before he gets an extremely bad cluster headache. The more serious and specific the action is, the worse the headache will be. For example destroying NYC would give probably give him pain equivalent to a single cluster headache that would last for maybe an several hours at most.
3. It depends on the person, lets say the source of the powers are caused by confidence, and determination. Powerful people would have powers but each would be different, like Caesar or Stalin for example would have a power due to their pure grit and arrogance. So maybe people like Putin or Trump could have powers. Each person would likely want him for different and personal reasons.

I have no idea whether this would work well for a plot since its from a dream I had, but the dream itself was a pretty cool experience

Basically the setting is some kind of post-apocalyptic-ish world where the wilderness is full of strange and dangerous creatures.
The father of the main character once had to venture into the wilderness to escape the police, and went into a cave that had one of these strange creatures. Instead of killing him, this creature cursed him, but without him knowing what the curse did.
It turns out the curse turned his child (The main character) that he eventually had into some kind of cursed being, who was human like but also had a ghoulish appearance, and had strange powers as well.
The main character accidentally killed their parents as a child not understanding how to use their powers, and ended up in some kind of orphanage.

I'm not really sure where I would go next with the story as my dream didn't last much longer than that, but I do know I would want the story to give the viewer the same beautiful melancholic feeling that I felt in the dream.

You know those "perfect at everything" types? That's the main character and they think they are hot shit, except in every other field others either get more attention for their talents or insight or are straight up better because our main character lacks something they all have, genuine passion. Their development will be about swallowing their pride and really accepting that fact and finding a real interest for them to be really passionate in.

Attached: puffer.jpg (2048x1536, 244.85K)

That's a pretty good one, I like the "badass who lost his powers" theme the MC has. Although there has to be an explanation why he needs to fight himself instead of being appointed to some kind of instructor position.
Oh, and Japanese portrayal of the Church is always entertaining as well
youtube.com/watch?v=LDnu0giUS00

An interesting premise. There are some anime with similar plots (humans who share some traits of monsters), but this could be rather good in its own right as well.
That said, for some reason it resembles a Witcher 3 side quest

Thanks for the clarifications. I'm mostly trying to gauge how difficult it is for the MC to avoid capture and fight off his opponents.
Also, does he have any overarching goal other than "avoid getting captured"? Perphaps he is searching for the way to restore NYC and undo the consequences of his outburst?

each day tanaka lives a life of cautious optimism. despite being the creator of the world and having the power to do almost anything he has always been cautious. by night when he sleeps his subconscious takes over and it creates havoc in the world tanaka created. he still hasnt realized whats going on but things he likes are torn down and plans he makes are slowly being ruined by some unseen force. it wasnt always like this so he is sure there is a intruder in his world. he can mitigate most of the harmful effects put in place by his subconscious but only after he has detected them and most of the time its 11th hour

Make Dungeon Keeper into an anime.
For bonus points, make the MC a generally chill guy who is mostly content to mind his own business, but asshole knights/adventurers/mercenaries keep invading his dungeon and getting killed as a result - until he has enough and starts destroying the kindgoms that send invasion forces.
A secondary MC would be a hero from one of the kindgoms trying to achieve peace and make all sides see reason.
Could also throw in a fair bit of medieval(-ish) economics a la Spice and Wolf.

There already are LN and manga about that, but they are extremely NSFW

Attached: DungeonKeeper.jpg (639x361, 50.99K)

He and his crew would be constantly moving place to place, going on a world adventure, all the while trying to gather food and weapons to survive. Each of his friends could have their own special characteristic. MCs main goal is to figure out the source of his power, how to control it, and figure out how to assimilate into normal society so he can continue to become a famous neurologist. He could also help other children with powers and figure out a way to develop some sort of power-blocker so corrupt people don't use theirs for evil. He also cant recreate NYC because he fears it might disrupt things even further and will increase his level of notoriety and the bounty already on his head.

Check this fucking garbage out

>You're free to try it again however many times you like.
>Maybe MC could be a scholarly fella who believes there are all sorts of mysteries that could be found from within, and investigates it by challenging it!
>Pretty much each episode consists of a new "run". The MC learns more about the fodder in each sublevel and uses new, different weapons with pretty much each run, sometimes having weapons and items synergize well, carrying him.
>And because why not the MC could be some kinda lizardman, because those fellas are usually seen as barbaric and shit, so why not change things up. Also humans are boring.
