According to Yas Forums this should've been a series about actual astronomy, a series about geology at least as much as an astronomy one, and a SoL Kirara with only hints of earth sciences all at the same time.

Actually, not really. It had its moments but it was painfully boring most of the time. Also, they didn't even focus on astronomy until the very end. It's honestly possibly the least enjoyable Kirara show since Anima Yell.
However: with Tamayomi premiering this season and the pre-air not giving a great first impression, it might give KoiAsu a run for its money.

Saikoro Club and RiB actually did focus on board games and laser rifling respectively. They were more focused on their gimmicks than KoiAsu ever was.
