From my experience with reading raws and porn Google Translate makes the script around 60% intelligible. Good enough to understand the gist of things most of the time, but not good enough to help you understand more complex language.

Use google to extract the script (either by image check or drawing it by yourself), translate such script in like 5 different types of machine translators, pick what makes sense in the context and fix it with your own english knowledge, that is if you want to do the work by yourself. If you just want to know what's happening just paste the script on google and call it a day.

You can do that, yeah. Unless it's something like Liar Game you should be able to understand most of it
