Berserk has its highlights all over, but there was something incredibly introspective and intimate about The Lost Children arc, and that feeling was never replicated again.
I liked Guts when he was mostly alone and struggled with his identity/purpose after being fucked over at the eclipse. I don't think we'll ever return to that level of kino.
