None of them. Stop "remaking", "remastering", "refording" and all that other re-tarded shit. Make new stuff that's good.
Air. KyoAni clearly needed more episodes.
You know that's not going to happen. Remakes will always exist.

Yes, I know I am screaming into the void and that no one who is actually in charge of making stuff is here reading what I'm writing. I'm just expressing my opinion about how it would be great if creators stopped reviving, remaking, making homages etc. etc. and started making new things that are creative and good. I'm tired of imitations.
the fuck is a reford
I was thinking of a specific game that was "reforged" but my fingers slipped out of anger.
Agreed. None of the remakes this generation has shat out have been even remotely good. Why is innovation and imagination so stagnant?
I figured that was the case.
I agree most of the time
Plz remake claymore and do it right
>Why is innovation and imagination so stagnant?
Because spending X and knowing that you're going to make X*Y such that Y>1 on a remake is better than spending X on something new and scary.
They still fail fucking hard, if the west and its hardon for remakes is any indication.
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
Oh wait, we're actually getting one *dab*

Macross.
Anyways, why is Blue Submarine suddenly getting fanart by some of the top fanartists? Is that movie finally taking off?
I feel it's going to flop hard.
>Last Exile
Just don't touch the OP song and it'd be hard to fuck it up. As a bonus the series used primo garbage CG so modern studios couldn't do too much damage.
>what is fruits basket
lurk more newfag
>Blue Submarine with good CG
Imagine
LE still looks good I don't think it needs a remake.
Nadia really needs one since it got fucked up during production. Crest of the Stars needs one since it aged horribly. Blue Submarine no.6 is also a good choice since it got fucked by being one of the first anime with widespread CGI. Umineko really needs one.
I cannot stomach shoujo
Give it to Arpeggio studio.
I feel you're wrong
the fate route from fate/stay night
We really don't need more Fate.
There's nothing I hate enough to want to see it remade.
We don't need more Typemoon.
Astro boy because I don't feel like watching that old crap. I bet I'll even drop it before the third episode.
Mai Hime/Otome by SHAFT
Astroboy was okay for the time, but it had some really fucked up episodes like the anti-robot activist.
remind all these nu-isekai what real storytelling is
unh unh.. leave this one alone. absolutely do not touch it.
Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade. But make both of the MCs female by having a policewoman and a female protestor in the place of the SWAT-like guy and red hood wearing girl whose names I kept forgetting. And change the setting of the story to Hong Kong.
Ima Soko ni Iru Boku
Is this actually worth watching if I am not a furfag? Damn, Tezuka.
Sol Bianca.
Not a remake tho, the remake wasn't good.
Actual true to the original continuation of the first two OVA eps from 1990-1991.
Idiot, remastering is just giving the old stuff a rendition it always was supposed to have and deserved.
Agreed on the other two.
the first episode of this was so fucking bad it turned me off from watching the rest
the 2003 anime is great though. it just never got good english subs after the first 25 episodes.
>reford
A remake or cheap sequel featuring Harrison Ford. Like Indiana Jones 4, The Force Awakens or Blade Runner 2049.
No because new stuff can never be good but I agree leave the pinnacle where it should be.
After what happenes to Orphen, none, and anyone that disagrees is a retard.
with lots of fanservice.
I'd kill for an honest to goodness remake of the original '90's series of Captain Harlock.
*'70's
misclicked
post more fish waifu
The author of the original books just released a new one. Though it's going to be a while before it gets released in english. Especially with the Kung Flu
>finally
It's always been popular. On both sides of the pacific.
WHAT REALLY PISSES ME OFF THOUGH IS WE HAVE NO ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS OF THE FUCKING MANGA.
Not really old, but I want a Needless remake that fully adapts the manga.
Gatchaman Crowds was an interesting series.
>Why is innovation and imagination so stagnant?
Because (((Kadokawa))) pushing LN sales, and an overall culture of being utterly risk adverse to the point you create fresh new failure.
Ranma 1/2. They can give it the ending it should have had, Akane falling into the spring of the drowned man and marrying ranma with her as the guy and ranma as the girl.
only unfinished or very low budget ones
do people want to fuck this fish
Yes
>we'll never get another anime this beautiful again
GANTZ. This is the only correct answer
