To be fair I didn't like the humor in the first couple episodes after the first one in S1 and the whole Phoenix Wright trial in S2.
Like the panty stealing joke is cute in written form, but not as much when they animate the gag over 5 minutes.
I know some people who are in stitches over it even on their 10th re-watch, so there's an audience for that I guess
But I still had a blast with most episode, especially S2 when it takes off

It starts funny but peaks early and devolves into predictability by the second season. I remember watching the sub-par OVA and realising that most of the humour had just become lowest common denominator ecchi harem jokes with an only slightly less conventional cast. It made the fatal mistake of falling for its own characters, when its best distinguishing feature as a comedy was having characters that were unpleasant and unlikable. It reminded me almost of a British comedy in that regard, which would've set it strongly apart from the typically warmer and more positive tone of comedy that you see in Japanese media. A lost opportunity.
That said, I'll never forget the joke early on where Kazuma and Aqua say they're going to start adventuring, and what follows is a dramatic montage of them doing menial labour and drinking with burly workmen, which was very unexpected and genuinely hilarious. It never got funnier than that, however.
