I don't agree. That arc pretty much snowed that Manbagi is just a sad girl and nothing more. On the other hand Komi had better interaction with Tadano and was brave enough to cheer on manbagi despite her being a rival. That showed how much she grew.
Manbagi is a fine and classic character, there's nothing good or bad about her, she's just an average character

You clearly don't understand what a mary sue is. It isn't a totally flawless character but a character with flaws so meaningless they might as well be irrelevant or even beneficial, which is the case for Komi as all her "flaws" put her into direct contact with the guy she likes.

It actually got better over time. The first 100 or so chapters were the most obnoxious, before the class change. The side character focused chapters are still obnoxious.

Ok, then post a proof to show me a character that has failed in Komi San. Any character would be good for me.
Flashbacks don't count, both Manbagi and Komi failed in the past.

It's quite slow, it keeps baiting romance that never goes anywhere, and it has never heard of the concept of "show, don't tell" with the constant text boxes explaining every page.
