Fate

Why did she suffer so much?

But she's alive

>Companion gets a fate of infinite death, none of the characters give a shit and are as chipper as can be and go off and have and party at the beach and shit, tone of game is fairly lighthearted other than this scene.
How the fuck does anyone take this garbage seriously do GO fans have legit brain damage or something. Why isn't this game universally mocked imagine if Naruto pulled this shit we'd never hear the end of it

No she's deader than dead

She's so fucking cute in Mellio case files.

Is Caenis a man or a woman? He is called he and she at random.

A literal tranny.

Disgusting. At least Emilia makes up for that shit.

Fate sure seems to have a lot of trannies these days

How do you got from to ?

>still hanging onto the old hag that is Olga

Attached: Screenshot_20200328-004958.png (1280x720, 1013.88K)

it seemed a bit extreme

Caenus is a sexy woman hero who got raped by posedian. Offered her a wish in exhange for the rape. She wished to be truned into a man so she wouldnt get raped again.

>born female
>the version you summon is the female version pre- rape.
>she has memories of both versions of herself
Basically its like when you summon lolli medusa instead of big tall medusa. You can summon 1 aspect of a servant from any point in time

It's all build up for something greater to come.

Oh shit we nuked another timeline, billions are dead. How tragic, i really liked some of them.
*5 minutes later* fuck yeah beach party! Time to roll for cosmic swimsuit Artoria #38. Now funnier and sexier than ever.

she lives actually

You do realize that they didn't expect the game to last to a part 2 they had no plans for her originally and I don't expect her to actually come back
The alien priestess is the void hollow of her existence it means Olga doesn't exist anymore

She still lives

What the fuck are you talking about

>Why did she suffer so much?
this

I don't understand what her role is in FATE Grand Order.

She is the daughter of the guy who started the grand order project. She takes over for him when he dissapears

She doesn't have one
He obviously meant her role in the story genius

>and I don't expect her to actually come back
That's your thing but they've clearly built up a connection between her and Nu-chan.

The hints are both in Part2's Opening and in Lostroom. It won't be the same Olga but clearly Marisbilly had some kind of other agenda for her

>It won't be the same Olga
another words she won't really comeback It won't really be her
>and Nu-chan
who the fuck is Nu-chan
>The hints are both in Part2's Opening and in Lostroom
the hints of her connection to the alien priestess not of her coming back

Technically Caenis is summoned with a woman body, but Kirsch calls Caenis with male pronoun because she prefers that way

That is her role. Shes the bosses daughter she was in line to inherent the project and lead (you). She was mean becuase she was under alot of pressure but obviously she would of warmed up to you over time.

>they didn't expect the game to last to a part 2 they had no plans for her originally
Of course none of us knows what the hell was going on with FGO development, but they did move a lot of Part 1 stuff to Part 2 later as seen with many servants from the early datamine or Solomon's battle lines haven't been used yet

>She was mean
Slapping someone who falls asleep during a meeting about saving humanity hardly makes you mean
>That is her role
I shouldn't be surprised that a fgo fan doesn't even understand what it means to have a role in a story
>but obviously she would of warmed up to you over time
yeah when you stopped giving her shit and this is not a role in a story nobody even gave a shit when she died take Olga out of the story and nothing really changes

I'm a filthy anime-only that have only watched Babylonia, First Order and just give Mortalis Stella a read. In the end, what happened to the bombing guy?

Attached: IMG_7410.jpg (1438x2048, 474.98K)

He's a a demon God pillar. Human form was sliced in half by altera but he's immortal anyway. He reappears as Flarous in Solomon.

>take Olga out of the story and nothing really changes
We might not have saved Gordolf if his circumstances didn't remind of us of Olga

Well originally he's Lev Lainur, a magus from the CT and creator of Sheba Lens. But he was transformed into Flauros, a Demon Pillar as you see in First Order and will reappear again in Solomon later. The human magus Lev Lainur was dead and also got addressed as "dream of the dead" in Lostroom booklet (note that it was the dream of Lev, not Flauros).

Unironically should have taken a leaf out of Touko's book. Touko knows her personality is liable to get her killed off so she created unlimited bodies to survive getting fucked by the plot.
Olga had to become an ayylmao to avoid plot death and even then she's basically confined to just existing.

Attached: 028.jpg (504x284, 28.48K)

No not really other than in Olga's case Gudao and Mash always choose to save people the game trying to act like it was Olga's death that made them choose to save him is more garbage writing especially since they never gave a shit about Olga

>Touko knows her personality is liable to get her killed off
Lev didn't kill her due to her personality but rather because of her being related to her father

Lemme rephrase this. Touko's awareness of how stories are written makes her understand that people like her are the first to be killed off.

>always choose to save people
They also often have to leave people to their fate in extreme situations and what was happening in Chaldea at the time was exactly that.

>hey never gave a shit about Olga
Eh, they weren't friends or anything but she was basically the first really gruesome casualty and she was also the one to give Mashu's NP name. It's understandable that they'd act like that even to an unlikeable bloke like Gordolf.

Basically because they belong to the Animusphere lineage.
Also the crest too i guess, given by how important it is to a magus family (hence a successor that has the crest can only commit suicide if he/she has an extremely legitimate reason). The El-Melloi got fucked when their crest got destroyed together with Kayneth's death, for example.
>"I'm telling you, such a motive is impossible. There's a fundamental issue. Magi can't kill themselves that simply to begin with."
>"Ah...right. Because of the magic crest, it's difficult to take your own life just because of mental illness."

Being the facility director is an important role its that she died so they had to put some one else in charge and keep the story going. She did help fight inside the fuyuki singularity. She probably would of done more stuff but she died really early. Romani became the leader and than he died. Big divinci became the leader and than she died. Etc. What was their roles ? Being the leader, watching over the missions, making the final decisions. The personal relationships that flesh them out were built over time which is why they are more liked. But they did the same role

Well if anything, Nasu did say Olga could be described as Touko without the philosophical side.

>They also often have to leave people to their fate in extreme situations
I can't really recall any situation but they stick around to save people in extreme situations even when it's meaningless Shinjuku ring any bells
>the first really gruesome casualty and she was also the one to give Mashu's NP name.
and they never cared about any of this they just stood there and watched when Lev killed Olga and then the next day they weren't depressed or affected in the slightest. Even when Romani mentioned her when talking about Mash's past Gudao didn't say anything about her this is not the actions of someone who even gave tiniest of shits

If literally everyone dies except the people we meet, you don't feel stakes. If a named character dies as well, the sense of danger increases. You meet only 4 people, one of them dies and one of them was a traitor. It creates a sense that the situation is getting worse. Give her characterization, then kill her off. Surprise, we don't just kill the nameless people, we kill people who got artwork and dialogue! Things are serious!

Tried playing that gacha game, lost interest shortly after she died. Unlike Mash she had an actual personality, even if it was a cliche

>the sense of danger increases.
Villain ignores mc and last master to torture a already dead person. Oh yeah just feeling the danger. Plus you can add sense of danger without mindless amounts of edge like infinite death

Read her myth, she's a woman who got raped by Poseidon and asked to be turned into a man.

Da Vinci, Roman, tons of Servants you met along the way, tons of villagers along the different points of story that you leave to just get slaughtered. Tristan slaughering all those refugees, for example or Inshun murdering an entire village. You don't sound like you've played this game at all.

They literally wanted to take down Lev when they found out he's in Septem just so they could get justice for Olga,.

>tons of villagers along the different points of story that you leave to just get slaughtered.
fine they left the people in Camelot for awhile but this is just one example and that doesn't change Shinjuku it's in Gudao's and Mash's nature to go and save people even when it puts them in danger and more importantly they never gave a shit about Olga expecting to take the idea that they saved Gordolf is ridiculous
>They literally wanted to take down Lev when they found out he's in Septem just so they could get justice for Olga
what a load of shit they never mentioned Olga in Septem

Moonlight/Lostroom: Galahad (regarding Olga)
>She's no one. She's someone who couldn't reach this future.

Blacklight (FGO OP2) lyrics
>If my destiny is already set in stone, then I won’t imagine the future I couldn’t choose – that’s what I vowed, but…
[...]
>I run to you; just a little closer and my fingers will touch you – and then, the future I wanted to choose…

Lostroom booket: Olga's entry
>不在の夢 which could mean "a dream that doesn't exist" but also "dream of the absent/gone/missing". Dunno which is the one Nasu went with.

Atlantis: Kirschtaria talking to the Priestess
>Go on and watch, O void in the shape of a priestess. It will be no one else. I am the one who will obtain the “future” that you could not, and turn it into reality.

Attached: IMG_7411.png (1500x1007, 770.83K)

Those are usually because plot says 'No you can't.' even when you totally could.

because as crappy as naruto became it was still taken seriously. fatego is just another sol waifu show.

Clown

Nah, it usually happens when they don't have enough plot armor and if they choose to intervene they'd get fucked too.

>inb4 Solomon gets the same staff with Babylonia
rip

So it'll be the best anime of the season once again is what you're telling me?

All they had to do was fucking ADAPT and add in content that wasn't present in the game, but what do we get? 4 fucking recaps and scenes that move too fast or longer on more than necessary.

Attached: 1585487569673.png (300x318, 83.77K)

Babylonia was the highest of the season in nico though but then Fall 2019 was really shit

Fate girls are for bullying. Actually, all Nasuverse girls are for bullying.

okay fine I guess there was technically ONE mention from them all this time but I was right that the name Olga didn't actually appear but that one mention in all of part 1 is really weak way to pretend they care Mash and Gudao just sat that there and watched when Lev killed her and showed no emotion towards her death they did not remotely act like people who had witnessed a companion receive such an over the top fate. While they apparently was one mention it's still pretty weak that Gudao didn't even have anything to say when she got brought in when Romani was talking about Mash's past. I don't know why is so hard for you gachaniggers to understand basic writing you can't have a character receive such a over the top fate and have such weak reactions to it from the characters

>scenes that move too fast or longer on more than necessary.
oh about this
Considering they actually thought the only barely properly paced scene (Siduri's death-still a bit too fast) actually too slow, I think it's not just being incompetent anymore. They live in the world of Sonic
It was from the interview of producer, where it was also revealed that they somehow didn't even consider Gilgamesh the main part of the story but just Gudao and Mashu until the director asked for Gil to be "secondary protagonist", just because Babylonia was before Camelot so they had to focus on Gudao so Camelot's staff can focus on Bedi instead

>He obviously meant her role in the story genius
this

>People hyped this because Toshifumi Akai was the director
>He directed the worst episodes

By having a shitty chara designer
