I’m totally convinced that Makima is a fiend. Not only does she know so much about fiend (she even allowed her old teammate to die so her fiend subordinate can come in). The only characters that have the same eyes as her are future devil and fox devil.

Maybe she told them to zip it like beam with Denji secret . She even stated that you can identify fiend with their face. (She has devil eyes). Also she also has the ability to different fiend and human through smelling. (Kinda like how you mention that fiend can smell her)

Yeah, I don't think she is a normal human either, but a fiend also doesn't seem to fit right. I would assume a hybrid or someone that assimilated part of one (or more) demons (in a similar way of master eating the flesh of the darkness devil, assuming that master is "human").
And while for a time I was very convinced that her smelling ability was a very strong indicator that she wasn't human, after the hearing thing I start to consider that maybe it's just a sense made more powerful by contract, possibly like her hearing abilities. I think that this is unlikely, but possible.

I don’t really care if the person has the devilish past as long as the person truthfully love Denji like Pochita. Beside I like Alucard and Hollow Ichigo so I don’t think Pochita past will change my mind.(unless he is a rapist or child molester)
