Sayaka-chan was EXTREMELY based this episode. She had super Wolverine-level healing which was implied in the anime series but we finally saw in MagiReco S2. She did her best to stand up to Mami and was really awesome trying to fend her off. I knew there was a reason she is one of my favourite along with Rena. She didn't save everybody but she did her best.

YachiIro's relationship improvement was rushed but at least here it's justified with the changes. Iroha makes her promise early on and then seemingly dies leaving Yachiyo traumatised for an undetermined amount of time until the next episode. Unlike Chapter 6 which ended in defeat but hope Yachiyo is left hopeless.

KaMoRe get involved with Magius but since both Momoko and Rena are wearing their casual costumes they'll probably get out soon.

Finally Alina is a very bad person who taught Touka and Nemu naughty things like how to be a Nazi. She is responsible for everything. She needs to go to the corner and get grounded by Iroha onee-chan.

How is that relevant when Madoka was erased from all conceivable timelines? I thought this shit made sense but ever since I saw that screenshot from the game where Madoka is off pondering the fate of the Magireco universe I've been confused as fuck. Also the presence of Madoka as a magical girl should necessitate Serious Homura because we're in the time loop part of the story.

The game mini story that accompanied the Madokami limited rateup notes that she left this timeline alone because it's the only one where she and Homura have a lasting normal friends relationship.

Magia Record is an entirely separate universe: different homu and Madoka
but Madokami existing at the same time is total bullshit and can't be explained in a way that doesn't break the rules

No. Magical girls can still die from physical damage. A wish to be invulnerable means that you can't be killed by physical damage, but all that damage goes to your MP instead. This is a pretty shitty deal, because it means you're going to end up a Witch REAL FUCKING FAST.

nope, Loops 2 (ended with witch Madoka) and 3 (ended with Madoka's execution) had Moemura and magical girl Madoka.

Magical girls only die if you shatter their gem, they could theoretically regenerate any physical damage if you gave them enough grief seeds to keep their gems topped off while the magic did its work.

But we know exactly how those loops went down because the show itself depicted them, and the gacha stuff wasn't there, meaning this couldn't be either of those timelines.

This Chapter was supposed to end in hope with Sayaka saving a weakened Yachiyo and Iroha from Mami. Yachiyo and Iroha lose their team but they go back to their house to recuperate and plan on bringing everyone back. The team was gone but Yachiyo still had her wife who was determined to lead the team and prove her wrong.

Sayaka learns about the Witches and spreads the news to MadoHomu. They cry on each other's shoulders but this time they come together as a group and resolve to live on with each other's help.

Yachiyo was left with nothing at the end of S1 and further traumatised.

I'm guessing they'll put it in the next season as it wasn't in this one, but the game shows us the point at which the timeline splits, the Mitakihara girls hear Ui's call to "come to Kamihama" right after fighting Patricia (the clothesline witch), so Magireco is a branch from Loop 2.

Where are you going to get that many Grief Seeds? Also, his wish was to be 'invulnerable', which I assume means that you're highly resistant or just shrug off any attacks. It's not a case of losing limbs and growing them back, it's basically being immune to any damage, but you deplete your energies insanely fast.

Sayaka is closer to Kyousuke in the game. She got what she really wanted out of her wish. Remember it was the truth and getting cucked that broke her.
