Honestly feel like Mappa and the team translated the tone of the manga perfectly with the adaptation, helps too that with every ep the series seemed to be getting better and better. BD sales are good too and it's apparently the #1 most watched anime on Netflix JP so it's bound to be getting a continuation.

More than the manga desu. At least I can follow the art now without all the cluttered mess from the manga.
Took me a while to adjust to it but I still adore the manga art. I'm just glad the adaptation isn't a Berserk 2016-tier shitfest. The CGI usage has gotten way better over the course of the show's run and the art direction is solid as all hell, ep 11 especially just fucking rocked it with En's backstory especially.

yeah a season 2 seems pretty likely now. Hope we can get a complete adaptation of this series, despite my doubts it's clear the adaptation's being done by people who love the source material.

I'm going to miss this adaption. Sure I wish Caiman was 2D and there were some letdowns like Nikaido vs Noi, Risu's freaking out over his head, and cutting Ebisu's cute moment with Fujita in the hole. But despite all that it was still great and the character artwork gives me hope for better things in season 2 with a bigger budget. I just hope we don't have to wait long for season 2.

It was a shame they cut out that moment but imo the scene where Ebisu's revealed to be the one who submitted a partnership contract for Fujita and the scene where she offered him a hug were done really well and made their dynamic feel really cute.

Bad Nick and 404 are fucking great. I hope they bring back Know Name to do the EDs and OPs of the next season, their music fits Dorohedoro incredibly well.
Also I fucking love the little references to the manga's OST within the anime's actual OST, especially with En's theme.

Weird choice and makes me wonder where the anime is going to stop. If they're including the Risu stuff it'll be hard to get to the pinky promise or bloody knife part, which is where I thought they were going to end. And they already skipped a ton of Risu stuff earlier.

No end animation, instead is shows Hole squad leaving for haru's house and the introduction of the crosseyes with a Kaiman voiceover.
Does it cover the pinkie promise scene?

Yeah it ends on pinkie promise. They don't show the bloody knife part though, except a quick flash in the ED that you wouldn't notice if you didn't already expect it.

Very good episode though, chotakaido has great voice acting and the ending montage seemed like they were pretty confident they'd get a S2 greenlight.

Yeah I thought it was pretty good. It felt like they dragged out the church basement a bit there's a lot of Asu just standing around talking. But overall it was a good sendoff to the series. The Kaiman nightmare is really good i'm trying to get some screencaps.

Kai only has one line but he doesn't have the tard voice that was present in episode 11 which is good. It's more flat and serious like you would expect.

You mean the phone call? I'm pretty positive that was Kimura Subara which would make it the same voice actor as Aikawa. Which would mean they gave Bossu and him the same voice and only Kaiman is different.
