Yea it was a mistake, I prefer the shorter arcs and it sucks that they will never be animated. Everyone who was interested has probably dropped it due to how glacial the pacing is.

I dropped it around the 3rd episode because this season was super packed and good overall.
Then I watched Kuoyki Suiri at x1.3 speed and skipped every piece of infodump (3 sentencies or more by a single character). And it made me really like this show more.

The manga is good past the steel lady arc. The stories are only 1-3 chapters and are fun like Kotoko tearing a family apart for the patriarch daring to rely on the supernatural.
