Tenchi Muyo is from the early 90s, that comic is old as fuck, like back when western releases of manga would flip the pages to be easier to read at first glance for western audiences.
It's oddly well done for a harem series. The sci-fi or science fantasy bits are different enough to be interesting, some of the dub is fantastic, the characters each get an episode that fleshes them out really well, characters wear different clothing, there are actual plots going on. It's really enjoyable
