The translators dropped it because Seven Seas (I think) officially translated it.

Something so like is how they can really transmit authority or maturity despite being cute tiny chibi characters. A less skilled author would make them look silly.

What would be your trade if you decided to live as an inchling in that town? Would you sell whatever you fish/gathered, if would you be a worker/bricklayer like Hakumei?
Seeing how there are so many adults living there, selling lunches on the road would be a nice way to start, then try to establish some diner near worksites or whereever they're expanding the town.

I watched Arietty the borrower recently because of this show and honestly it wasn't very good. This still trumps it on the topic of tiny people. Arietty is ridiculously cute though, probably the cutest ghibli girl.

That sucks for me because they don't sell them in my country. I never even watched the anime but I always loved the manga.

They should build their own business in the tree trunk, but I suppose that costs a lot of tiny dollars, seeing how long it took them to build the outdoor kitchen. They're both neat girls.

The series was overall okay and pretty to look at. My only niggle is that the scale was off for things supposed to be so small.

They did a few things right, like bugs and blades of grass being bigger than them. But falling wouldn't hurt them too bad at that scale and things they drink would look like drops.

This would be a walking simulator I'd gladly play. Or maybe somewhere between Atelier series and Animal Crossing, with a side of adventure. Picking materials, crafting stuff before deadlines or before someone steals your idea, run away or fend against some nervous animal, look for nice spots to sit and eat lunch/get hammered, then safely walk your inchling to her home while plastered.
