Why are shounen writers unable to write actual good final boss fights, all of them fucking suck or are underwhelming as fuck.

Muzan's fight was literally the same as UM1 except it had less character building, more asspulls and it was way more jumbled and boring.

Rehashing Douma poison trick was definitely lame.

Except this only became a thing towards the end of the fight, after Koku released his blood demon art. Before it was mostly a series of 1v1s which turned into a full on assault by the pillars onto Koku. The climax was also completely different as Koku's was an all-out all or nothing by everyone, while Muzan's was a nevernending struggle where everyone was completely worn out.

I also don't see anything wrong with having characters playing a more supportive role in a fight.

Why wouldn't they use it more times? If it works it works

It was especially bad in Douma’s case.

Considering he's already had a flashback while nearly dead earlier this fight, it's unlikely Wani will do it again.

Characters played supportive roles well in the UM4 and 6 fights respectively with each one of them using their strenghts to help in different ways, in the Muzan fight everyone just NPC'd the fuck out Muzan while Tamayo's plot device did the rest, there's barely any individuality in each one of the character actions, they're just flailing their swords around.

Because now you have no reason not to use it in every single fight until the author has to powercreep Demons into being immune to it(considering the manga doesn't end here).
