Didn't commit to any one flow and it didn't have any fanservice to keep interest when it was in a fanservice heavy magazine.

Why would a publisher pick up a known failed series? What will probably happen is the next series will require a pilot/manuscript that tries to address the failings of this series.

That aside, I would love to see the author try a past-it cake magical girl series. So many pilots, doujins and that one forgotten anime but no one's really embraced this idea as fanservice comedy.

Can't print and deliver high numbers of physical volumes without a preorder/crowdfunding system, essentially zero chance of getting volumes into brick and mortar bookstores without searching out a publishing company to print and distribute your books (yoy might as well run your manga in a magazine if you're going to do this), no editor with experience catering to your target demographics, no large initial target audience (the regular magazine readers), harder to find assistants, and more.

It had no focus or idea where it wanted to go, kind of like the main character- it meandered along knowing that time was short and precious, yet squandered it's "youth" anyway and only too late realized it had passed the 30 chapter mark without really going anywhere.
