Since CSM has a similar universe to the one we all know and live in, I think it is safe to assume that it tastes similar. It COULD obviously be different, but since the food people in the CSM universe consume is similar I feel pretty safe in saying that something like a standard pie is something most would like. For example, in chapter 56 when they all eat at a fast food place, Power again says she hates vegetables, something common among immature people in our world. Master enjoys the burger she is eating, something most people in our world also would enjoy. Since ketchup also exists, it means that they find the mixture of tomato, sugar, sat, pepper, and more is something the people ar efond of. If they tasted different, I think I am pretty sure they would decide not to mix it all and make a sauce out of it.
