Why did he bail Naruto out every time he was in trouble? He admittedly hated him and his goal was to get out of the seal and if Naruto died he would've been set free, so why?

bad writing. theres no in universe explanation
>he would've been set free
No he would've died too.
Apparently when a Jinchuuriki dies, the chakra of the Tailed-Beasts shatters with it and takes time to reform. Even then, I don't see the problem since Kurama could just reform later and roam free.
Because it's just a Deus Ex Machina button for Naruto whenever he's in trouble and not a real character until way fucking later in the series.
I thought he was saving naruto in order to use naruto as a tool of revenge
If Naruto died he would die as well, although it turns out he would resurrect eventually. Maybe he thought it would be preferable to wait for an opportunity to break the seal, like almost happened against Pain.
Cause you need these moments where the teenage boy gets really furious and his hidden side awaken and he's suddenly super strong and cool just like me if I was pushed far enough I'd show them fuck you Chuck stupid asshole throw my backpack in the toilet one more time and I'm gonna show you
No good explanation.
because kishi is a hack, simple as
It weakened the seal each time.
The only explanation I can think of is that his resurrection would take far too long and breaking free from Naruto would have been the easier/quicker method.
After Rin died the three-tails was inside of Yagura a couple of years later.
I haven't watched or read naruto since before shippuden started.
Why did the tailed beasts exist in the first place?
Where did they come from?
>Why did the tailed beasts exist in the first place?
>Where did they come from?
ALIENS. SPACE.
Nah I’m kidding. Barely, though.
Explain further.
t. Speedreader. He would die too, just resurrected later in some form. No guarantees he’d be the same person.
>No guarantees he’d be the same person
nice headcanon
It’s too complicated. Read this: naruto.fandom.com
If Naruto died, 9 tails would've taken time to reform, and I guarantee they would've been on resealing him REAL quick.
the chakra would be dispersed, eventually becoming the fox, but not kurama, but a new nine tailed fox. who knows. minato also had the other half in him, what happened to that fox after the final. and gold and silver brothers had the clock too, is that a sentient fox?
The Tailed-Beasts separated chakra manifestations of a creature called the Ten-Tails which is actually the monster form of a being called Kaguya Otsutsuki fused with a magical plant called the God Tree - Kaguya is an alien god from another dimension who is responsible for all chakra in the Naruto world because of the God Tree. She had two sons (One of them being Hagoromo - The Sage of Six Paths) who eventually turned on her because she became corrupted and they sealed her away by splitting her chakra up like it was first explained.
That a abridged summary of the Tailed-Beasts.
>ALIENS. SPACE.
Holy shit I thought you were fucking kidding.
>Kaguya is an alien god from another dimension who is responsible for all chakra in the Naruto world
Ah. Of course.
Makes perfect sense.
Oh, user...
In early Naruto, every time Naruto used Kurama's chakra the seal would weaken. The more Naruto abuses his chakra the more influence Kurama was able to push passed the seal (that's how it seemed at least). Kurama was probably banking on the fact that he would push passed the seal sooner or later and free himself given time.
In later Naruto, would Kurama even form back after Naruto's death? I mean Kurama didn't have his Yin half, with it being sealed in Minato and all. Seems like a power paradox, he either forms back with both yin and yang chakra to make his full biju form, with the yin half in Minato being excess or Kurama comes back as only yang chakra but looks like the light, ethereal form KCM?
Did any of you spergs learn nothing while watching all 3000 hours of Naruto? The main aspect of the character, his real strength, was that his unconquerable spirit could sway anyone in support of him and his agenda. In this way Naruto was a messiah figure and even the bitter Nine tails found hope in Naruto. This is why he shared his power.
> I mean Kurama didn't have his Yin half, with it being sealed in Minato and all.
I never got this part. so even with only HALF his chakra, Kuruma was apperantly more powerful, or at least as powerful as any of the other tailed beasts? I get the hirachy of the numbers and tails, but that shit seems retarded. Naruto sure got lucky getting the very very most powerful monsterbuddy there is.
Kurama has way more chakra so it would take far longer to regain his form. Even if it took the 3-tails just a year or so, Kurama would need dozens of years in comparison.
Are there still two Kuramas or he reformed himself?
Source?
He wouldn’t be set free, he would just die along with Naruto. However, being a chakra-composed Digimon, he and his siblings’ energy would likely “recoalesce” after some amount undetermined amount of time had passed after their death. But it was never made clear exactly how long it would take the tailed beast to return after death or what state they would be in once alive again, with or without their full former power or memories of being named by the original sage. Instead of a respawn, which they wouldn’t have much reason to fear, at worst it may be a form of delayed reincarnation where they appear in their baby forms without a fraction of their original strength, no control over where they’re “reborn”, and no idea where they came from before some village’s ninjas find them and subjugate them even more easily than before. If that were the case, since it already took the tailed beasts multiple centuries of living without human interference to age up to their state at the point of the story, dying and having to start all over again as a wild baby animal with no way to defend themselves against being instantly recaptured and would probably suck. It’s like sure, you’ll come back to life, but with amnesia and no way to fight back against a world that has likely gotten much better at controlling tailed beasts in the time since your death.
Because after Yahagi left, Naruto became one inconsistent mess.
>this used to be a story about ninjas and working hard
Naruto finally got the “full” Kurama after getting the other 50% of “Yin” Kurama from Edo Minato before he went back to the afterlife after they sealed Kaguya. At that point he was basically already spent to shit from fighting that war all day, so the full extent of what a completely fresh and fully charged Prime Naruto with 100% Kurama could actually do was never really shown. Aside from maybe that movie with Toneri.
He would die and after some time would get resurrected, but it would make him very easy to seal away again. Breaking Naruto’s seal and immediately returning with full strength was a safer bet.
Because Kishimoto's a bad writer.
That was just a consequence of Kishimoto writing Rock Lee’s arc too closely to Naruto’s fight against Neji. It wasn’t really about just working hard, it was about not being so arrogant in your realism that you assume that somebody else isn’t destined for greatness just based on appearances. You never know how well-connected or gifted somebody may be. That retarded idealistic kid over there may not get how the world works, but don’t assume the world isn’t going to work for him. Neji.
The real message was about how idealism can survive or stay relevant in matters of war and peace where power and nepotism mean everything. The moral of the story was there’s nothing you can do about it, but don’t be a faggot.
Honestly, it failed at the "working hard" premise even before Naruto turned out to be the son of one of the strongest Hokage ever and the reincarnation of Space Jesus.
>Naruto has Ninetails cheat mode, was trained by a bunch of legendary figures just because, but he's *totally* an underdog because he didn't have friends growing up and is kind of an idiot
>Sasuke is a child prodigy with OP bloodline eye powers and also the reincarnation of an alien demigod
>Sakura gets trained by a legendary ninja and is STILL mostly useless
Sasuke apparently wasn't a prodigy, he just worked hard.
More chakra to gather = more time needed? Idk just sounds reasonable to me. I don’t think he would just pop out of nowhere already fully formed etc.
>worked hard
>instantly copies the taijutsu that Rock Lee poured thousands of hours of blood sweat and tears into with his magic eye
Naruto died to me when this happened. Fuck the Sharingan, and fuck Uch*has
The difference between Naruto and Sasuke was simply that people knew Sasuke’s pedigree. If they had full awareness of how stacked Naruto’s lineage was, he would have been treated like a local demigod from Day 1; this likely would have also made him an arrogant fuck like Neji or Sasuke, perhaps even worse. He was raised to believe what everybody else believed, that he was a common zero-status pleb. By the time he got wise to what he was actually given by this family line, he had developed the grit of genuine self-esteem independent of it and the strength of character from life as a “nobody” not to let it get to his head. It wasn’t about the transformation of a peasant into a God with hard work, it was a God raised as a peasant to give them the principles not to be corrupted by their inherited power. Sasuke was basically like the orphaned child from a family of well-known celebrity athletes who was aware of it and spent time learning the game from them, whereas Naruto was secretly the last surviving heir of a royal deep state-affiliated family that no normies were aware basically run the entire world. He grew independently of that, being able empathize with ACTUAL losers, but Kishi wrote it like dick.
Sakura was the real underdog of the story.
kishimoto writing
>instantly
Except he trained it for a month. Compare that to Naruto that mastered Sage mode better than Jiraiya in a week.
But then again, some of you talentless faggots just lose your mind when it comes to Uchiha since you can't really self-insert
Say what you want, but it was actual hard work that made Sasuke and Neji OP back then. Yes, they had bloodline asset better than others, but Neji is shown constantly training. His techniques, I remind you, weren't taught to him, they belonged to main family only, he discovered and trained them on his own. Same for Sasuke, even before he awakened(and then re-awakened) sharingan, he was the best among his peers, and this had nothing to do with bloodline or some "special Uchiha training", because as a kid he never got any attention from Itachi and his dad only showed him one jutsu and instantly disregarded him after the failure, making him actually work for it. Afterwards he had literally no one but himself.
If anyone was actually a 100% bloodline prodigy with no hard work whatsoever, it's Itachi.
That whole thing was just shit writing. Sasuke wasn't even there to copy Lee's shit.
He literally fought him before
>i-it's shit writing because i said so!! He can't be stronger than m-my fave self-insert!! Stupid hacks!
What a cuck.
Rock Lee's weights were on and he didn't use any of the moves he used on Gaara in their fight. There wasn't any speed for him to copy.
>Interdimensional human aliens travel from planet to planet, seeding them with a plant that sucks out the life energy, then they return thousands of years later to harvest the world tree's fruit and eat it for U N G O D L Y P O W E R
>Earth got seeded, then alien woman ate the fruit and got supermagic powers
>She decided to rule over Earth, slept with some human guy, and had two sons
>When her sons turned out to inherit her powers, she went nuts with anger, believing they stole her power
>She turned into a giant ten-tailed monster and fought her sons
>Her sons used their magic to defeat their mother, then ripped out her soul and sealed her body in a giant enclosure of rock, creating the moon
>The elder brother then took his mom's soul and split it into nine separate parts, forming the infant tailed beasts
>He taught them that one day there'd be a guy who would treat all of them as equals, and to watch out for that guy
>Younger brother went to go live on the moon to watch over their mother's body
>Older brother decides to spread magic to the other people, teaching them that magic should be used for good and not evil
>The people decide to use it for war
>He has two sons, the older one who inherited his dad's immense magical power, the younger one who was a screwup and had to rely on his friends' pwoers
>Old sage guy then decides to entrust the future to them and wants to pick one who has the better ideal
>Older brother, with his cool powers and awesome ability, believed might makes right
>Younger brother, with his massive amount of friends and followers, believed friendship is magic
>Old sage guy chooses the younger son, believing it to be the path to peace, then dies
>This enrages his older son, who fights his younger brother for the right to rule the world
>Their fighting continued on in their descendants, who eventually come to an agreement
Eventually the villages are built. Naruto claims to be about ninjas, but it's actually about wizards.
Can one man job more than Kakashi?
I'm rewatching Naruto because why not.
Never watched Shippuden, does Orochimaru ever fucking die? I enjoy a slow burn but enough is enough, Sarutobi actually killing him would have been perfect thematically but that ship has sailed I guess
Orochimaru is Naruto's Joker. He has contractual immortality.
>does Orochimaru ever fucking die
yes sasuke kills him and then itiachi kills the Orochimaru living in the curse mark, he gets resurrected by kabuto but then is for some reason 'good' now
Only one man can job more than Kakashi - Sasuke, his student. It ties perfectly into the "passing the torch" and "each generation surpasses the previous one" themes
>but then is for some reason 'good' now
He's not good. If he had a chance, he would snitch Sasuke's body anytime.
Though I guess half of the cast, including MC, would do the same
>Younger brother went to go live on the moon to watch over their mother's body
The older guy was the sage of 6 paths right? Who's the younger guy?
Orochimaru literally just hangs out in the leaf village now
And Kabuto runs an orphanage. They got away with everything. EVERYTHING.
kek
Sure felt like it through the entirety of the original series.
Sounds dumb
Hopefully at least the fights where that happens are cool.
>Hopefully at least the fights where that happens are cool.
PHAHAAHA
No, he gets almost one-shotted in one and fully one-shotted in another
I thought 10 tails is the beast form of the tree.
