BNA: Brand New Animal

>Nina looked tired, so I thought to put her in the water.
>I mean, she's a dolphin, right?
Who was in the wrong here?

how the fuck did she come to this conclusion? is she literally retarded?

Honestly, this scene had me so confused, since I just couldn't tell if the human was just that fucking dumb, or whether they were actively evil and malicious.
Having the stupid dolphin then say at the end that she still enjoyed it since the city was indeed sparkling didn't make it any better.

Virtue signalling at its finest. Girl paradea the beastman around her friends, assumes she had a bad life in anima city and then proceeds to dump her in the water just cause she has dolphin features. She's dumb.

worst episode
I'm still confused what they were trying to convey

It's pretty obvious she didnt meant to do it. She's on the "beastman good, humans bad" camp without properly educating yourself.

Can you still be friends with someone if they accidentally-sorta-almost killed you?

Both sides are uneducated about the other and putting up walls just creates unrealistic expectations, not everyone is the same, an important part of Michiru leaving Animacity will involve communication of what beastmen are and aren't

How is it hard to convey? It's something that's happens in the modern world " white people bad, black people good", " white priviledge, black underpriviledge". People just throw someone into a category without properly educating themselves.

I guess what threw me off most is that this is totally not the development I expected. Certainly not after the shot with the beastman mayor seeing the party on the web and daddy's reaction to it. If this wasn't cue for beastman hunters seeing this as well and raiding that party, I don't know what is. But that did not happen. Instead we got... this. Just confused the shit out of me.
