Finally got the 2 seasons off my backlog, will watch the movie tomorrow. Fuck me for not watching that earlier. I'm mangafag mostly and have been watching less anime with time but I enjoyed this one like back then. Likeable characters with good chemistry between them, interesting story full of funny quests and gags (even if repeatable). Maybe it's because I'm not sick of Isekai (I've only read ZnT and Oda) but it was fun. I'd rate S1 and S2 even.
Question to anons reading novels, is any girl ahead or is the harem possible? I think I've read in some threads that it's gonna be Megumi which I'm okay with but I like them more as a party, but missing on other interactions will be a letdown. Can't imagine Aqua back to being goddess like earlier too.

God no. The appeal of this anime was how despicable its characters are and it only got worse the more it dipped its toes into 'romance'. No harems, no romance, all their plans should always go to shit in amusing ways.

If she were a dedicated side character I'd be fine with her. Like just appearing in volume 6 and maybe the spin off volumes. Volume 10 was made significantly worse by her though, to the point of dreading the character ever re-appearing and preferring she'd just die off instead.

I may or man not be misremembering, but I think there was a mention somewhere in the spin-offs(?) that polygamy is illegal in Belzerg. Also, Eris tells Kazuma to fuck off because he's already dating someone. There's not a single character with a harem in the entire story, not even the fat bastard Alderp, who probably could have gotten himself one instead of chasing Darkness. No, there won't a be harem end. If it happens though, it would be a massive asspull that will probably piss off a great deal of readers.

I personally dislike volume 10 because Iris is in the spotlight for 80% of the volume, in an already boring volume with the only redeeming part being the casino. The problem with Iris is that she gets 2 dedicated volumes and then disappears forever. Why introduce such a character if you reduce her to a spin-off one? In the short time she appeared she only disrupted the group cohesion and proved that she's superior to anybody. And that's it. What's the fucking point?
